Understanding the ERJ 145/140/135/Legacy electrical system can be difficult. If you're a visual learner like me, simply reading through the manuals is not enough to grasp the concepts. Better understanding comes when you can visually see and manipulate the system.
This app goes hand in hand with the EMB 145/140/135/Legacy Airplane Operations Manual. It allows you to learn the concepts from the manual but in a more interactive way. The four main lessons this app covers are Power Up, APU Start, Rule of 3&4, and Essential Power. They are designed to teach you specific concepts that build upon each other. The lessons enables you to manipulate and see the cause and effect each button combination has on system configuration.
The app also includes the EICAS messages associated with the electrical systems and their causes. Furthermore, you can select specific buses and determine the systems that are connected to them.
Whether you are getting ready for recurrent training or simply want to brush up on the electrical system, the 145 Electrical App is perfect for you.
