I don't really agree with the IDDQD pick for Shock, and my reason is the same one you gave for Ta1yo. The meme of him having the best K/D ratio on the team after one map has sort of kept IDDQD at least somewhat in the memory of Shock and OWL fans. In my opinion, Shock's most forgettable player HAS to be dhaK. The guy was a Lúcio legend prior to the League but became a laughing stock when placed on Mercy during the meta where she was a must-pick. The guy struggled REALLY hard on her, and after a terrible season was forgotten about completely. There are no memes around him or anything. He was there, made no impression other than frustration, got replaced and then never seen or talked about ever again.
I miss dhaK. If this was modern OW style of team comps, someone there would have hired a mercy main for the meta to replace dhaK for Mercy comps. He was always a personal favorite of mine!
@@justinwhite4995 Same, actually. When I started playing OW more seriously, dhaK and DSPStanky were easily the biggest influence on my playstyle as a Lúcio player.
I think it comes down to IDDQD, Nomy, and Dhak. Unfortunately for them I think Nomy and Dhak are still technically remembered for their unsuccessful Shock run. But, yeah, I can see it being a toss up.
Snow did get to play one regular season map against Florida Mayhem in their last game of the season. Rise also played at least one map. He played in the famous Fragi & Bischu map.

QOQ, Lige and Bernar were all off tanks on Spark at the same time, he was actually an insane player pre owl but never got the chance , its a shame but all too common storu
I feel bad for Chipsajen. He was ONE OF THE GREATEST supports before OWL, and he just fell WAY the hell off! (Yes I remember 2016 Pro Overwatch) And the same can honestly be said about a lot of the "forgotten" players. People forget them because they either didn't make it or barely made it through season 1/2.

Hell, I had to think hard to remember gambler at all. Also I don't think I have to state that this is obviously my opinion so I don't care if you disagree or not.
I know mistakes was just an HM but I wouldn't put him there at all, especially after coming in for Kazper and had the 10-0 stage. Even if he did live in strikers shadow
Silkthread has a funny story woth his name, got fined for posting a pepe on twitter, and I think Mistakes is very memorable for stepping into the boston squad when DK got banned and helped them go 10-0

The big ones I do not remember much of are: Gladiators Panker Reign NLaaeR Mayhem DPI Defiant Sharyk and Valiant GrimReality I feel like I vividly remember people like Panker and Sharyk, even NLaaeR and DPI sound familiar. I’m a full on Dallas fan. Been a fan since EnvyUs. Chipshajen inspired me to be a support player, he’s still the only dallas jersey I have. An incredibly unfortunate OWL career.
TBF most of these players were old AF or never got a good shot back in the day and their careers just died. IDDQD was just old by that time, Panker was underrated and never played, but was great at Legion. Mendo was old. Sharyk was a fun story as a player from an obscure nation, but never was good enough, Smex was old(er), Highly was cool, but Jehong was THE most important part of that team (Arguably moreso than Fissure). I knew you were going to pick sharyk for Toronto, he got benched by the guy he was brought in to replace and that's just not great. I feel bad for him though cuz I feel like he kinda got screwed a little by Defiant. I think another honourable mention should be Asher, he was memorable on Glads but he played like one or two maps and then retired, so I think a lot of Toronto fans, even day 1 Toronto fans forget he was on the team and he didn't just play for the Glads
IIRC Team EnVyUs had behind the scenes issues involving Chips. Nothing too damning for him but it really took a toll on their friendship and overall teamwork
Not to throw shade but if Hyeonu's gameplay is anything like that clip, I'm not surprised he didn't play when he spent 20 seconds doing nothing but bouncing on a wall.
