I had the Rituals village last year, and definitely prefer that design to this year’s christmas tree. Haven’t decided on which calendar to get this year, so your video came at the perfect time.

We usually get The Lego advent calenders - for The adults (Star Wars for dad, Marvel for mum) - and last year it was Peppa Pig for our son. This year I suspect it will three Lego calendars😊

I’m so dumb, I just paid full USD price for the YSL advent calendar from the YSL Beauty website (and it’s $350 rather than $300), forgetting you had posted you bought yours from Selfridges for less. My credit card company seems to charge foreign transaction fees for purchase from overseas (e.g., I got a $35 charge on a MyTheresa purchase), though, so maybe I didn’t overpay all that much. This is my first time ever purchasing a beauty advent calendar, but I decided to forego the Dior holiday minaudiere this year, so I am splurging elsewhere. 🤷♀️

I'm done with Voluspa because I got cut by shattered glass as Voluspa wasn't secure & Sephora carelessly packed it in a huge box with a single sheet of packing paper smh. Jo Malone is tempting but I don't like their ethics.

The Voluspa 12 Day Japonica advent calender was my most favorite advent calender from last year. The packaging, the size of each candle, the different frangrances is such a good value. Too bad they have the exact same candles with last year. So I won't be picking it up again. Wish they would have selected different candles from last year. I am really curious about Jo Malone advent calender. It'd be awesome if you can review that.

I may consider purchasing the Ritual Advent Calendar this year as I have never purchased their products. I generally purchased the Dior Mini Advent Calendar every year as a ritual but I’m very disappointed that only four miniature size products are included this year. Last year (2021) five products were included and also the price point was cheaper last year. I like the Dior color and design so I’m still undecided if I will make a purchase.
It seems like in general prices for everything are increasing but quality/quality is declining 😭

I got the larger Voluspa Advent Calendar last year and am currently on my last candle, but I swear they didn’t smell once lit. Every day my husband walked in from work, I’d ask if he smelled the candle & he’d say no. & I live in a condo, so not like I had lit it in a huge space. 🤷🏼♀️ I really want to buy it again this year cuz they’re so cute lol but am discouraged. Where do you light yours Cindy? Curious if I should have in a bedroom instead of the living room.

Where have you been? Do a review of Net a Porter's advent calendar. It retails for 299 but I did the math of the products inside and it is a whopping $1300 in value. I'm surprised that no one has mentioned it yet. They're all high end brands too, a lot of Barbara Sturm products, Balmain, Face gym gua sha, etc..Please do a review, you're missing out!!! I am about to buy 2 more. Dior is super overrated, the decor is nice but seriously, NAP is super good.
