Everytime I see your Batman I’m blown away, knocked this one out of the park as well! Picking up a copy of Count for my flight to Germany!! Much support brother!!
You're too kind, my friend! Thank you SO much. I hope you enjoy the book, and your trip! Thanks, brother!!
That is amazing! It is crazy that just a small amount of work can change how something like this looks!
Thanks, Toby! Yeah, it really can make a huge difference. I love when something is already good, just needs a little help over the finish line to make it great.
@Ibrahim_M may not be much, but it does does look amazing. I just did a subtle customization to one of my Hot Wheels Robert Pattinson Batmobiles. I just took a Black Sharpie to the bumper (around the supports), and a little silver dry brushing with a paint marker along the bottom and edges to make it look better. I did do a short showing it off. May not be a high-quality video, but I think it gets the job done. It was already scratched up around the edges, so I thought, why not do a custom, and then later on, I decided to show it off
@@TobyKester9 Nice! I'll check it out!
Nice work. I picked one up back in June a mnd have been customizing it ever since. Painted and detailed body, fully detailed leather interior (gauges, floor pedals, Nitrous tanks, turbo shifter) added a bunch of LEDs to make it screen accurate, added the rear metal work in the back and put a customized Mcfarlane in the driver seat and finally added the startup sound from the film.
Whaaaaat that sounds incredible!! You gotta post a video to show that off! I’d love to see it!
@@Ibrahim_M I put some videos on Instagram but I should probably post them here, huh? I plan on doing a full video when it's 100% complete. Waiting on some 3D printed pedals my friend made me and some other odds and ends and it should be good.
@@walterpiper8947 dude please post a video ive been stalling on getting my batmobile and I know once i see how good a custom one looks i’ll have to finally order one
@@Collect2Disconnect Just uploaded a couple quick videos. Let me know what you think!
@@Ibrahim_M Took your advice and uploaded a couple quick shorts. Enjoy!
good stuff. just ordered mine looking to do this as well
Thanks man! Enjoy, it’s a pretty dope car 🙌🏼
Nice paint flat black.
Thank you!
Great job as usual Ibrahim. I need to work on mine because as you said, everytime I look at the shelf it really bothers me how toylike it looks. One thing I want to do with mine is dirty the windshield and work on the welding decoloration to the rear exhaust pipes.
Thank you! Oh man, dirtying the windshield but leaving it clean where the wipers would streak it would look so cool! I might have to do that as well now 😂😂
I've seen some modellers use wet and dry paper on tyres to make them look more real, taking off the shine. I wonder if that could also work on shiny plastic. Great results, though! Just watched a video on the $500 Mattel special edition and the weathering looked really obvious and over the top, a particularly bad example perhaps. There's now a 'making of' short for the Batmobile on youtube, that shows some of the stunt work and preparation including the mud they painted on.
Thanks! Yeah, factory weather is often never subtle enough. HAve you seen the JazzInc version? They really nailed it. Such a beautiful piece.
@@Ibrahim_M Yeah, it's cool, but for me I think these things are best when kitbashed or scratch built. Spending huge sums hits diminishing returns, IMO. The exception being custom made stuff, because they can't reduce their overheads. Habro Pulse annoys me, because corporations shouldn't be crowdfunding. And I hate this whole pre-order and FOMO style business.
@@Ruylopez778 Oh, I totally agree. That's why I like to build stuff that way, and why I don't use a 3D printer. I have a few vehicles that I didn't have to do much to, and I love them as works of art (the Jazzinc BVS Batmobile and this one we're talking about), but it's always more satisfying when I had a hand in making/changing them.
another great video knocked it out of the park. I'm actually going to purchase this car soon to do the same thanks for the great tips!
Thanks so much for checking it out! Hope you have a ton of fun with yours! You can still get it for retail price here: amzn.to/3zCDNzy
I definitely need to weather my copy up. Thanks for uploading this! Loved the anecdote with the DC editor telling you to make sh** dirty !
Thanks, brother! Yeah, that anecdote and the other advice he gave really changed my whole approach to drawing (and my life, frankly). I got the opportunity to tell him that a year later when I went back to show him my work again, and we've actually become friends since. He's a great guy!
I was thinking of getting one of these myself actually. Especially for the price point !
It's worth it, man! And it looks great on the shelf!
Outstanding video you gave me some good ideas to detail my Batmoblie and make more like it was in the Movie 🎥 keep up the good work and please keep em coming cheers 🍻
Thanks very much! Have fun detailing yours-- it's really enjoyable!
I am actually working on this batmobile, but the one by spin master, cause it fits the Mcfarlane scale pretty well, and I'm currently making the interiores and your videos sure have help a ton! thanks
Oh man, I'm glad to hear that, thank you! The Spin Master one looks great-- for some reason they never released it here in the states, and it seems like the people here who were able to get one had to order it from Europe and pay extremely high shipping. I'm glad you got one to work on!!
@@Ibrahim_M Yeah it sure looks great, and here in Mexico was not that hard to find, I actually bought it at walmart, now, as for the build, it has been fun with lots of planning and setbacks but, fun, thanks for taking the time to reply, it really means the world!!! I keep watching your videos for reference and when I'm blocked
@@carlosrodrigueznava4076 That's so cool that you were able to just walk in and get one! It feels like the opportunities to just find a cool thing in a store are becoming so rare. And thank you! Have fin with it, man! there's lots of cool things about that car to add details to for sure.
Looks killer dude 🤘🏻
Thanks, man!
I’d put the rust on the step pad just In general but I still like what you did 👍
Thanks! Rust is a really cool detail on models and miniatures like this, but I felt like since this thing is something Bruce just finished building, aside from the Charger body (which he would have sourced a pristine version since he's rich) all of the parts would be new and there wouldn't rust on any of it. (If he did it right, anyway, haha).
where did you get the batman head suclpt
Check out the video I made for the figure-- it'll show what I used and has a link to where you can get one! ruclips.net/video/Iov46wxJdOc/видео.html
Whats the scale of that RC ???
It’s 1/10, but 1/10 scales better with mezco and marvel legends than 1/12 vehicles. Then boy figures that scale right with actual 1/12 vehicles are SH Figuarts (and some of the smaller Mafex)
Que modelo de batmobile es ?
There’s a link in the description, my friend! From Mattel.
@@Ibrahim_M thank you very much, your batmobile is amazing, greetings from Mexico lml
@@davebanner6327 ¡Muchas gracias, Amigo!
