The problem with this path of logic is that it brings up the question of other rabbit characteristics. If her legs are based on rabbits, why doesn't she have haunches? Does she have razor-sharp claws? Does she also have super fragile spine? You might be overlooking the more obvious explanation that sex sells, and they want thirsty people to buy her skins.

The problem is that the writer of her story also wrote Milio's, and the issue is present there too. Milio's granny was an exiled Yun Tal, who are the best elementalists in Ixtal, however she gave up on her grandson's teaching. However Milio (as a little kid), just taught himself and managed to master everything about the fire axiom (one her grandmother never even showed him lmao), and also invented an entirely new method of using it.
