    If you want to see lots of elk in early winter, the border of this ranch is amazing. 1-2k elk winter in there.

    • @ivideowildlifeTV
      @ivideowildlifeTV  Год назад

      Actually by Mid November most the elk have left the ranch heading to winter grounds on public land, a few May winter on the CWMU down low near I-70

    What kind of tag did you have to get for this hunt? Because you must not be hunting during regular hunting season. In utah they require 40" of orange durong pubillic rifle season. Just curious.

      No high fences here, actually made the cattle fence lower for the elk to help the youngsters come & GO easier without getting caught in a cattle fence. Check it out sometime

      My assumption is that he is referring to the thought that people have about how CWMUs keep game on there property. If the animals are afraid of the fence lines then they won't hop over to public.
      Not trying to be confrontational. I just hear a lot of people talking about how CWMUs go to lengths of all sorts to keep animals on there property.

    • @realtimberbucks7612
      @realtimberbucks7612 6 лет назад

      @@joshalvey8981 I would love to see the bull in velvet. In regards to your cougar piss thing. Where these guys are hunting is some of the most prime country an elk could want. I've been on the property and the reason it keeps so many big bulls is because of the public land hunters who don't know how to keep a low profile while hunting. Yeah the Johnson Ranch CWMU is almost unfair but not really when you think of the money the owner paid for it sooo get over it:)

      I'm proud of the hard work I put into harvesting a animal and proud to bring home the meat to feed my family. It's called hunting and humans have done it since there have been humans. I don't know what kind of processed food you eat or why it's hard to understand

      Do we get a little offended when someone say,s something about your choice of music.I for one, don,t believe you would of played that kind of music trying to sneak up on a bull.Each to their own,that,s your right.But I would of preffered hearing a bugling bull,water rippling,wind blowing through the tree,s or even the hunter,s gasping for air sound,s.I was a cougar guide for 20 year,s in Utah and I like God,s choice of music much better,than satan,s.
