Jeeze, Mate. The guy that stole the windshield from my TR 3 didn't take all that time and fuss. Four screws and it was gone, gone, gone. Came out the next morning & had to think for awhile. Was hammered (my friends and I later referred to that night as our Epic Night, but that's another story) the night before and for a few minutes wondered where I left the dang thing. Anyway, we caught the guy & got the 4-bold and it's off windshield back-- which is another story.
Amazing vid, thanks. I am building mine at the moment, so it makes sense to put the brackets on now. Have just gone on Caterham site and the brackets are out of stock :( But anyway, thanks for the guide...very useful.
Hi Callum … thx again for this guide and for sending me the brackets/spacers. Just for group knowledge, my 2022 360R SV has a plate with the ECU port under where the brackets go on the drivers side. It’s in the way of installing the brackets because the captive nut can’t go past it. I’m going to have to bend/cut or figure out how the ecu port bracket is attached so I can loosen it off to fit the bracket.
Hi Callum - love the videos. Quick question about the Way connector. You mention that the spade connector fitted by the factory is too big to pull through the scuttle, but you managed to lift the windscreen off and pull the wires through the scuttle without cutting the connector off first (or was that missing from the video?)
Hello. Great, simple and instructive videos. Please do keep them coming. One on spanner checking for a track day would be fantastic. I have a question on aeroscreen fitment: The stock channel under my driver’s side knee guard has what looks like a block attached to it for an earth coming off the FIA battery isolator switch. It appears to be glued onto the channel. Have you come across this and if so, do you have any tips for transferring it to the captive nut channels I want to fit? Thanks v much
Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. It is similar, except that the block is attached to the channel below (which I am aiming to swop out for a captive nut version) rather than attached to the inside of the side skin, as your picture shows. It seems stuck on and I am not confident to prise it off in case I affect the functioning of the cut off switch . I don’t have a photo to hand unfortunately.
Sealed with the rubber seal, yes. But “stuck” to it? No. Although if it’s been there for a long while the rubber might have slightly adhered to the scuttle.
Very useful, and the Tommy Cooper flash made me chuckle 😀
Kudos for spotting Tommy! You’re only the second person to do so 👏 👀
Thanks for all the vids. Very helpful and interesting.
Thanks for stopping by and viewing @plonk7!
Great you explained it so easy
Very useful, lovely livery on the demo car too…!
It’s gorgeous, isn’t it? 😀 It’d be remiss of us not to say it’s one of our decal kits too ☺️

Hello! As luck would have it, we have one spare set in stock. Give us a call if you’d like to purchase them 😊
I'm on the phone as I type this....;) Thanks @@turn7caterham
Thanks again Callum...great service and advice...and brilliant that you had the brackets in stock...or had! Awesome :)

Correction … there’s a panel in the way on both sides! :)
Nice Explanation. I am currently looking for some "more aerodynamic" Mirrors. Do you know where to get the ones mounted to the doors?
Give us a call and we’ll sort you out 👍

It was cut off, yes. Won’t go through the hole without it being removed 😊
Thanks! 👍@@turn7caterham

@user-jm7ef1jl8b Strange! Bear with us please, and we’ll see if the workshop has any thoughts 👍
Thanks again. I’ll send a pic if I can get to the car and remove the knee guard in a reasonable time.
@user-jm7ef1jl8b Feel free to mail it to us if YT makes it hard. hello@ (our domain) 👍
Is the windscreen not sealed to the scuttle ?
