    I like all the information that you can give me. I ordered my Ranger Raptor back in June. Can’t wait.

      How long did they tell you it would take to build? They told me 8 months in May.

      @Dark_Templar28 depends on dealer allocations. They said almost a year for me and I got it within 6 months.

      @@Dark_Templar28they told me 60 to 90 days 🤷🏽‍♂️ supposedly they already had one allocated and I just fine-tuned it since the VIN wasn’t produced yet.

      How much do you spend on gas every month?

    I'm averaging 18 which for a truck isn't bad. I'm also at sea level well close to it

    Sounds like it’s a good daily driver for a truck I’m not sure if I want this or a f150 with 5.0 is back seat big enough for my dog I have a pitbull see 80 pounds want her comfortable

    • @DavidFigs
      @DavidFigs  9 дней назад +1

      If you plan to Offroad on a regular basis I'd recommend a raptor. If you need a more practically daily I'd get the 5.0.
      Or get best of both worlds and get the 6.2 gen 1 raptor 🤘

    Your shelby is 1500 pounds ligther and dose not have the aero of a brick like the Ranger so your GT350R will get better MPG because of those things. The wheels on the Ranger Raptor are 4 times as heavy which effects MPG too. So yes a Mustang in any form is always going to get better MPG then a Ranger Raptor, except maybe a GT500. TFL is getting 20 on their Ranger Raptor I do not get that and I'am at sea level on 93 octane. I get about what you are getting, but I have only 800 miles on it. I think it has to do with the gas pedal, if drive it like a grandma you can get into the high teens and even 20's. Thats really hard to do in my case. Always had a heavy foot since I started driving love speed and sound.

    Great content. I’ve had my RR for a little over a month. 20.3 avg mpg with 1600 miles on the odometer. I’m in a rural area and definitely not driving it like I stole it. Once the novelty of the new truck wears off I’m sure those numbers will come down. These trucks are solid.

    • @DavidFigs
      @DavidFigs  2 месяца назад

      That's crazy!! Thank you for sharing. I mean I drive normally 90% of the time... What settings do you drive, just normal?

    • @3502dav
      @3502dav 2 месяца назад

      Normal mode. Just drove 200 miles to Bethany Beach, DE for our summer vacation. Hit some traffic but I was at 20.3 MPG for the trip. I usually only do 10-15mph over speed limit so people aren’t trying to run me off the road. It’s not fun but mostly just smooth, steady throttle getting up to speed. This truck has enough low end torque that I don’t feel like I’m bogging it down.
      I’m hoping once I get a tonneau cover I see another 1-2 mpg more. No complaints thus far.

    Im amazed how many people dont understand how turbos work, more air more fuel more air more fuel squeeze squeeze squeeze they use more fuel then NA engines

    I could live with that MPG. My 400whp corvette could easily get 30mph on the highway. Cruising at 75mph in 6th gear.

    Mpg.. what's that😂 smiles per gallon. I'm getting around 12.7 on my gen 1 and that's just putting around town with foot out of the gas mostly. Still considering a RR in the future. Wonder when 25s will come out?

      @@DavidFigs it is not consistent as I will get 16 or much less and I have been resetting every time I fill up to try to see what the mpg is for how I am driving at that time vs letting it calculate over a long time where I might have been off road or driving it hard or in traffic etc as that average has been lower if I do that
