You know, when I first played this game for the Gamecube, the gameplay was similar to Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, even though that game is actually a North American reskin of the original Puyo Puyo for the Sega Genesis

Wow, this must be the very first Puyo Puyo game that has actual english voice acting instead of JUST having english text.

Nope, Puyo Puyo also has an English dub, which sounds even worse than this one.

@@netako, it did sound mediocre, but it was still interesting at least, since English dubs of the Puyo Puyo series weren’t common until the 2000s.
