Ah yes, the Great ATL hurricane of 1944, during one of the most infamous wars in human history. F13 really going back to old, historical and underrated seasons.

I think the actual central pressure for the 1944 Great Hurricane may have been around 914-917mb since the ship passed within the eye is not at the center, as it recorded 15kt winds... My comment can explain why it was upgraded if you are wondering.

1944 ATL Season! Featuring the Great ATL Hurricane! It was recently upgraded to a C5 (originally, it was a C4) thanks to new findings from a ship passing within the storm, which finds the pressure at 919mb w/ 15kt winds inside the eye! Though, it is worth mentioning that the reanalyzed pressure was 918mb as of 2022, but the hurricane could have been stronger due to a meteorologist suggested that the hurricane may have reached 909mb! Although the 909mb was rejected, it paved way for reanalysis of this hurricane!
However, given what we know about the ship's data, the 1944 Great Hurricane may have reached between 914-918mb, instead of the 909mb suggested...

actually, there were two. The one in 1780 severely affected the caribbean, while this one made a category 3 landfall on the northeastern U.S. It may be confusing, but this is not fake.

Ya know, there could be more than one "Great ATL Hurricane" since there are no names being given to any storms publicly before 1950... This also applies to the Galveston area, there's the 1900 and 1915 Galveston Hurricanes. There could be even more out there that even I don't know about also share the same location or trait names (e.g. Great Hurricane, Perfect Hurricane/Storm, etc.)
