The guy filming for his Instagram Story though at 3:21 lol 😝😂
I think it Snapchat xD
Similar to the girls in this video, I was drawn to Japanese culture after becoming interested in J-rock and anime/manga as a high schooler. From there, I found myself falling in love with the language, traditions and landscape of Japan. It was a huge influence on my life and helped me become a more confident person, as many Japanese people were very kind and helpful and my fellow students were also very nice. (I was extremely shy & anxious as a young person) I also had wonderful experiences going to J-rock concerts and anime conventions with my little sister, who grown & is married now. I haven't been able to visit Japan yet, but I sincerely hope to someday.
bluexwings Exactly the same as me. As soon as I heard BABYMETAL, I instantly loved Japan and I started learning the language 2 days later. BABYMETAL for me is a life changer and I'm eternally grateful for it.
Yo BABYMETAL just keeps getting better!
I'm a huge fan of Miyavi, Gackt, Lm.c as well as many others. But these are my top favorites. :) I also really love Gagaaling, and Vamps (to whose concert I was lucky enough to win a backstage pass- they are so nice!).
I'm not familiar with Baby Metal, but now I want to look them up! ❤
For your own good, I hope you'll never visit Japan. Stupid liars and lovers of the so-called "American culture". Don't ask me why I say it. I have the "luck" of having a holiday with a Japanese woman.
Singapore! Happy National Day to Singapore~ Thanks for posting at this period and having the first scene stating Singapore.
I've been traveling a lot the last 5 years and I think what have influenced me the most is a combination of how global everything is. We are all the same and totally different at the same time. I've spent a semester studying in Hawai'i, which was just amazing! Japan have been one of my favorite places to visit and I've been there four times so far (total of 15 weeks). And traveling through Europe easily shows how each country gives you a special and personal feeling the first time you visit it. My experience is that you don't have to spend a long time somewhere to find out if you'll enjoy it there or not.
In my country (Brazil), culture wise, we are specially influenced by the USA. As for me, however, I’m very interested in Japan. The politeness and selflessness of japanese people seem so wonderful to me! I admire how they care for and appreciate nature. I love japanese aesthetics as well, yukata and temples and kimono are so beautiful! Not to mention all the games, anime and lolita fashion. It just makes me sad that most japanese can’t really speak english properly, this makes communication quite difficult. I consider learning japanese in the future so as to be able to travel to Japan and actually talk to people!
I'm shocked not many mentioned European countries that much, considering so many pastries, food / anime settings / fashion / luxury brands / great music is Euro based.
Tuimo They don't care about us
*France not Europe
I honestly don't hear a lot of people mentioning Germany, mostly France and England... they forget about us too lol
Ñîggā Ü Gæŷ and italy
They are just random people, who thought Hawaii is a country.
I was a kid when this mini series called Shogun with Toshiro Mifune, Richard Chambelin and Jhon Ryce Davies aka Gimli came out..Been facinated by the Japanese culture ever since..
To the person who said Singapore, I like you already XD
From a Singaporean
And ofc, a country that has influenced me is Japan. Japan's beautiful, it has a strong recycling culture (which I like) and everyone's damn polite. There's also some words in Japanese that can't exactly be translated into English. Those actually are good phrases which I feel really brings out the Japanese nature.
Japan's service is also great, with delicious food, etc. The good things on Japan are endless.
fellow Singaporean here and I agree with you 😃 that's the reason why I've been visiting Japan yearly
That's nice! I'll be going for the first time next month and looking forward to it!!
wow nice, I'll be visiting coming Nov. Enjoy your trip! 👍
ade Thanks! Enjoy yours too ^^
I have had a very deep and growing interest in Japan for quite a few years, but within the last year or two I've also really been absorbed in south Korean pop culture and fashion, someday if I ever get the opportunities to travel I'm still debating on which country I would like to visit first!😄 I really wanted to live in Japan a few years ago, but it doesn't seem very realistic for me lol.
I'm Italian,i'm sorry for what happened. It is true that someone here steals things, fortunately not all Italians are like that. Thanks for always bringing content from Japan, the videos are beautiful 😍
The Philippines by default because I am Filipina but Japan has influenced me as well since I've lived in the country multiple times. Nowadays, I feel like the friends I have made in other countries, like Canada and Mexico, has some indirect influence on me because we constantly expose each others' cultures.
That girl who wants to go to Hong Kong Disneyland to get Duffy's signature... she & I would get along really well as I'm also a HUGE Disney & Duffy fan. She's right you do need about a week for Walt Disney World (especially if it's your first visit) because there's 4 parks compared to 2 in Tokyo, plus the water parks if you're into those, Disney Springs... the whole WDW complex is like twice the size of Manhattan. Now as for me, well I'm obviously fascinated with Japan and Japanese culture. I love Japanese variety shows (especially Gaki no Tuskai). The style of comedy in Japan is so out there compared to in America. But I also love lots of European countries like England, France... I have several friends who live there or used to live there but now live in America. I have a friend who lives in France that is coming here on vacation this fall and I'm excited to see them again as last time they were here was a 2 or 3 years ago.
I think the girl in the middle of the first group has a crush on director-San. This is the second video in a row that she stares at the camera while her friend is talking. Make your move man!
one way to make sure she is interested ; ) xd
I think the guy in white at 3:18 likes cathy🤣. then at 5:16 he looks so anxious 🤣
Definitely Japan for me. Started with music, mostly Visual Kei, like 13 years ago. Interesting to see all their varied responses! A lot of them mentioned Taiwan.
I lived in Costa Rica for 12 years so it's probably the country that has influenced me the most. Also Spain and Japan are countries I've always felt drawn to for some reason.
For me: europe , korea ( seoul)& japan😊💖💖💖💖💖
the one wanting to go to Disney World is not wrong lol, you do need about a week to see the whole thing (I've been, it's huge when you add in all the parks... Epcot, MGM, etc.)
I love Australia laid back approach to life. And Japan for the Culture and appeals to my geeky nature :)
Japan first and then Korea. Anime is what got me intersted in the Japanese culture. Namie Amuro was my introduction into J Pop and then BOA came into my life through InuYasha so it trickled down into my love for K Pop. Super Junior, Big Bang, SNSD, SHINee, and numerous other groups have got me into the Korean culture as well. I love the shows that are aired in Korea. Running Man, Knowing Brothers, 1% Friendship, and too many more dramas to list. My favorite show was Silent Library for a while. Hitoshi Matsumoto was a hoot! They don't make funny shows like that in America so I had to get my humor somewhere else. I like that the Japanese culture is ingrained with being polite amd considerate of others. I love being an American but I wish we could adopt some of the other countries habits.
Thanks for the upload and the hard work. 🤗🤗🤗
Japan has been a great influence on me even when I was in elementary school thanks to pokemon and sailor moon lol. I'm 26 now and that influence has grown to learning the language, the food culture, learning the mannerisms etc.. I am planning on going to Japan next summer, I can't wait!
Hawaii is part of America so, ILL TAKE IT XD
Also Japan culture has made me very calm, more respectful to others, and more fashionable.
Hmm, I can't deny that Japan has influenced me the most aside from Germany (born+raised). In the recent years internet culture, along side with its US-American influences, has had an impact on me as well.
Due to my parents being Japanese, I only felt fully non-influenced by this culture when I went to school overnight trips, haha. It was always strange to come back home from a whole week of only speaking German! xD
Japan has 100% influenced me the most; from my drawing style to my fashion taste, it was all changed when I got into Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing at age 11! But, I also love French culture (especially fashion and food), Korean culture (again fashion and food), Eastern European and Russian culture (I'm half Eastern European Jew - my dad's brother took a DNA test so he and my dad and my aunt are all pure Eastern European Jew), Scandinavian culture (that's my other half, my mom's side), Italian culture (my aunt married my uncle (rip) who was born Italian but raised in France by a French family who adopted him after he was orphaned during WW2), British culture, German culture... I study as many romantic cultures as possible! Cultural studies just fascinate me!
I life in a country where people from all over the world life, too. So, I'm pretty aware that cultural differences are there. And some are cool, some are weird, some are scary. Biggest influence here might still be the U.S., like in most western countries, I guess. Personally I'm intersted much in Japan. It started decades ago with animes like Ghost in the Shell and Akira. I still like animes very much, but went further and try to get as much information as I can. About history, culture, social manners, language, economics, politics, demography, all the correlations between those and so on. I'm allready started saving up money for a long trip to Japan (at least 4 weeks, better would be 3 month). And I started to look into language more, so that I, at least, will be able to try to be polite and respectful and enrichen my journey. I think I need about three years to have saved up enough and get a glimpse on the language.
Countries that have left a positive impression on me, while traveling arround europe, where Russia, Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium and Czech Republic. Beside japan I also look forward to see the Baltic States and Norway as well as Finlandia.
Wait!!
80% of Japanese gods are Indian.
How can they forget us ????
What?
Japan its not religious coutry
What country influenced me the most? I'd have to say it would be the mid '30s to the mid '50s. I know you want to object. That's not a country, you'd say. Well of course it is, and it's really different. Regrettably I can't buy a ticket to travel there, but I can watch the old historical documents made by the masters like Ozu sensei and John Ford. What a strange place, and what strange people, behaving in ways that would bewilder us, frighten us and perhaps occasionally charm us. I sometimes think I would really like to visit, but maybe the travel brochures are as close as I'll get. Maybe the mists that I see in the outro are the mists of time? The portal is opening and we can all take a trip...
Took me a while to get this, lol. If you ever find the portal, choose wisely where to go. Some places in the time given, weren't that nice at all. Sent us a message, if you ever make it ;-)
Kitty Love, I didn't think I was being subtle. I agree that there are some places I'd stay away from. I will be sure to leave a message if I make it there... and back. Although in someways maybe it would be better to stay.
Maybe I'll find my way to Taured.
Hawaii? Wow! Was not expecting that from the Japanese... P. S France and Russia are my influences ❤️❤️❤️
That humidifier mist tho..
0:55 Quite the legendary space out.
In interviews, they try to pick up a country but it looks so hard.
Many Japanese people think they are not influenced, I guess.
At least food culture is strongly influenced by the US, China, and Italy.
These people were asked of what other country influences them personally (more like on a daily life) the most. Survey wasn’t made general for culture and tradition of Japan.
The person with the green and purple shirt with the black collar. Ever since I watched the other video she was in, I keep thinking how familiar she looks...
But yes, Japan is what influences me the most. And it's definitely one of the many reasons why I'm here.
British music was breast milk in my adolescence.
Probably best not to be influenced by my country Australia.
Our Slang is a different type of English language we created ourselves which is harder to learn and even more confusing than Japanese.
Also everything here can and will kill you, even plants.
Luke's Yu-Gi-Oh! & Weiss Schwarz Channel Scotland's the same in terms of dialect. Even many English people who come to Glasgow need help understanding what people are saying, despite speaking the same language and being from somewhere fairly close by.
It says ''county'' in the title!
9:07 it was fast, I can’t understand without subtitles :p
but it becomes hard when i don't have that vocabulary, fast is just more difficult.
America, South Korea and Australia I'd say.
for me it was both japanese culture and american. With american it was more the music and movies whilst with japanese it was all the anime, games and manga.
Why did a lot of them refer to Hawaii as a country? It’s a state for crying out loud!
Maybe they don't want to admit it that Pearl Harbor is in Hawaii, and Hawaii is part of America. Their attack on Hawaii (WW2) was what led America to go against Japan.
Hruška Maybe
Hawaii was annexed by US with force. You can easily find the history in wikipedia. More like an oversea colony than one of US state. Life of native hawaiians is plague with drug, alcohol and poverty like any other native under white man rules ( US, New Zealand, Australia, Canada so on.. .).
Elder: Europe
Middle Age: America
Teens: Korea
Nope wrong
I love Japan & Japanese culture !! 😍💓
They always smile when they talk.... I wouldn't be able to keep a serious face for longer than 5 seconds in Japan lol
StaySkeptic I love it. I just wanna go there already and meet great people.
Japan has interested me the most. I love Japanese rock music 🎸
I'm curious to know why Hawaii is such an attraction for Japanese when they have Okinawa? Of course the Polynesian aspect is different and more unique but from what I can tell. Okinawa is very similar otherwise.
Marketing.
I feel the places are very different as well, though I've only been to Okinawa in December (low-season).
The 2nd "country" in the video title lacks an R fyi
They do know Hawaii isn't a country?
You actually need two weeks to visit Disney world if you want to experience everything. Don't get the bbq it's not good at all. It's made for mass consumption so not much flavor.
I've traveled to five foreign countries - Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Argentina, and France (twice) - and amazing as it's been, none of them have held my fascination as much as Japan, despite the fact I haven't made it over there yet. I don't even know why or how. It's not due to pop-culture. I've never been into anime/manga/J-pop etc. But the culture, traditions, and history are what keep me coming back nowadays. Someday i'm going to make it over and it will be very difficult to tear me away once I'm there.
im so sad that Mexico and other latin american countries are not noticed by sempai
Saw the steam. Are you sick? Hope not!
近年はアメリカ一択
Hong Kong mentioned ❤🥹
I always find it funny when people in Japan always mention that foreigners forms, especially from America, are perfect. I guess I can attribute that to them not seeing many foreigners, because most of us are faaaaar from perfect.
In other videos, I have heard them say that Japanese people are not good. I have actually met several people from other Asian countries as well as Japan, and they all say "never trust an Asian" I find this disheartening as I love Japan so much.
Subtitle?
Subtitles in spanish please.
What's up with the steam??
Probably air freshener,,makes breathing easier
s3xyScorp Isn't Tokyo humid enough in August without adding to it?
Ovviamente noi facciamo sempre bella figura...
The title confused me.

what about MEXICO!!!!
haha simon :v
las carnitas asadas deben influenciar a cualquier persona
Cuz nothing's more fun than being kidnapped by a cartel thinking you're a rich foreigner, only for them to cut your head off when they find out you have no money.
Sure, why not Mexico?
I don't think people in Asia care about Opioids anymore
Nadie le importa México ajjaja
Mecks089 Oh...
Hey Trump! That's a very valid point you've got there.
I think you should start building your wall as it will make it safer for you and your racist family.
Though I think you should at least visit once this land of cavemen who live south to your border...
Because from my years of living here I noticed that your talking about 0.01% percent of the country and 0.00001%
And it's actually filled with a lot of beautiful scenery of forests, beaches and temples as well as very kind and humble and open people...
Nah but I'm probably wrong you must know more about MY country then I do...
So sad to see the influence of the mass media affecting americans such as yourself.
Sincerely. A Mexican.
@5:12 wonder what his wife does to entertain herself while away from her husband overseas
Don't laugh at me, i'm influenced from American culture
Japan is certainly the most interesting country due to the culture and technology.
But in my opinion all countries are cancer..Some are unique and other are copies... I want to go to Mars and create my own country, with my own religion

You sound like a potential INCEL
Sweden, because they have all the best metal bands.
I never see. You speak in Germain
NANI SINGAPORE?!?!?
Having been been and raised in Hawai'i, I was pleased to see that many Japanese people have an interest in the Islands. I did find it interesting that they seem to consider it a different country than the U.S. --But then, a lot of people on the mainland U.S. do the same thing.
Japanese tourists are unfailingly nice & polite, but they tend to be quite shy. Some of them actually seem to panic a bit if you talk to them and they don't understand English (we have so many local Japanese people that its easy to mistake a tourist for a local).
You da GOAT!!
Hi :)
Any Singaporean here ? >
No need to go to Hawaii. Okinawa better than hawaii
mr pendekar I want to go to Okinawa over Hawaii. It's also cheaper than Hawaii!
America is the creator of Disneyland why is she talking about Hong Kong🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Hills_of_shibas disney in hongkong is the best than disney in america( in my opini) asian people most interest with hongkong disney
