Your tour of the grounds of the hotel was awesome. Love that the old Flamingo still is honored at the new hotel. Frank and Dean forever. 😀 Thank you for the walk around.
Gosh its been years since we've been to Vegas. We once stayed at the original Flamingo Hotel. Im so happy to see they didn't remove it completely and lives on. Its nice to see it as it is today Jordan. Price isn't bad. Grounds are so nice. Thanks for taking us along. Always a great time hanging with you!
Stayed at the Flamingo many times. It's part of the Ceasars chain they send us free rooms, free flights to Harrahs Laughlin with rooms. They also gave Betty and I free tickets to Elton John's Million Dollar Piano a few years ago at the Forum at Ceasars. What an amazing show that was. I hope all is well Jordan with you and Ja
Pretty awesome! I lived in Vegas, early 70's, when the older hotels you spoke of were thriving! It does sadden me that they tore them down and did not rebuild.
Thanks Jordan! You really are a reprieve to all of us during this coronavirus terror. Those of us who are on lockdown still can travel through your videos. Stay safe!
Thanks for the mini-vacation, Jordan! I could almost feel the refreshing spray from all the fountains ⛲️ and I LOVED seeing the live flamingos 🦩. They were gorgeous! It was such a nice getaway you took us along on…I really appreciate the feeling of being there. Thanks ☺️ Meline
I just HAD to stay at the Flamingo the first time we went to Vegas. It was great. The rooms were a bit disappointing. Not bad..I just thought it’d be better. Great video!! I loved the pink flamingos!!!
Las Vegas at the famous Flamingo Resort! Definitely Over the Top in true Las Vegas style! I have been to the original Flamingo plus the Sands, Dunes and the Aladdin hotels. The place is truly a colorful sight and worth a visit if nothing else just to get out and see the sights that adorn it. I still want to come ride the roller coaster on the top of the building, then see the effiel tower, and maybe just maybe play the one armed bandits once again and see who wins! Good Vlog Jordan 🇯🇴
So funny you mentioned “Teri” with the pink flamingos. No matter where I am and if there are Flamingos that’s immediately what I think of. The “Threes Company” Show opener with Teri lifting her leg up imitating the Flamingo. 🦩
Great to see the "Flamingo" once again. I stayed here back in 2014. I watched Olivia Newton John Perform at the Donny & Marie showroom and met her after the show. Great memories. This is classic Vegas and prime location.
Wow! So much has changed since I've been there! I used to go twice a year to Vegas with my best friend Kyle until his untimely death in 1998. We stayed at Bally's since it was more in the middle of everything. I sure miss going there and I really miss Kyle. Thank you for the trip down Memory Lane! It was a bit emotional for me.
I remember staying at the Flamingo before and liking it. But after your tour of the grounds I have a new appreciation for it. I don't remember the beauty so much, but the way you captured it really brought it to life. I love flamingos and to see them walking about was awesome. The pool was great as well as everything else. I also feel that this is a less expensive option of some other Vegas Hotel-Casinos I've stayed at in the past! Thank you, great way to start my day!!
Yes, I did enjoy this vlog at the Flamingo 🦩 I am feeling a little off and some stress but the fountain and bird sounds and the really pretty greenery was a great way to begin my day. Vegas is quite an interesting town with so much miscellany. This was fun. Thank you.
We went to Vegas in March, we stayed at the Cosmopolitan, but we spent quite a while exploring the Flamingo's and the beautiful park area. I even ordered some pink flamingo's for my yard!
If one can get to Las Vegas, it's fun to just go to all the casinos and see how they are set up. Some are so big inside they are like little cities and you walk a lot! New York, New York is set up just like NYC inside, The Luxor is all Egyptian and others all have definite themes. One of my favorites is the Venetian with all the Italy theme and the gondola rides. There's something in Vegas for everyone.
Wonderful Vlog! Vegas was my Mother’s Hang Out! Started going in early 70’s and continued going until the last year of her life! I never had seen the new Flamingo... now I have thanks to you Jordan! Thanks! 🎉🎊⭐️👑🌟👏👏
Thanks again Jordan for a great video. You being an Elvis fan I’’m surprised you didn’t mention Viva Las Vegas. In 1964 the Flamingo was host to numerous scenes in VLV. Enjoy the town~
Wow, you sure do manage to bring us with you to some fabulous places! With a JTL video, definitely doesn't disappoint! Gorgeous views, very cool sites, and interesting educational tidbits with a splash of color. Oh, when I saw that Piff the Magic Dragon, that was so cool! I love that guy, he's so funny! Great video as always 👍! Give an ole scratch behind the ears to the Jahster for me!
Thank you for the fun your. I never would have guessed there was a tropical land full of pink flamingos on the other side of the hotel. It looks like paradise! It actually looks more peaceful than the other hotels. Glad they kept this beautiful retro Las Vegas hotel of a time passed. How cool a Kiss machine!
Wow ! The grounds of The Flamingo are incredible. Definitely worth the stay to enjoy. It's really exciting in general to see the country coming back to normal again.
Hi Jordan, what a brilliant choice of hotel to stay at. I like the look of that Bugsy Bar that was closed and that flamingo fountain. I bet the hotel and grounds look spectacular at night. The grounds are so beautiful. Such a shame all the original famous hotels have gone, all that Vegas history. Boy, those machines have changed since I used to play them, I wouldn't know if I'd won or not. Great vlog Jordan.
I stayed with friends at the Flamingo in 1986. Pretty sure at least the front part was the same then as it is now. I don't remember if the side wing was there or not. It was called the Flamingo Hilton. Looks like there a great deal more to it now. Back then, it was just a tower plus a casino, pool and an area where they had the best breakfast buffet I've ever experienced.
My Gf won't let me put any flamingo's in our yard. I'ma mass order them from Amazon. There will be reports on the news of major gas and pink flamingo shortages throughout the country.

That caused a revolt and the city backed off. The singer Christopher Cross, who lives down the street from me, put out a bunch of them in his front yard last week as part of his birthday celebration.
Thanks Mr. Jordan! The only time I went to Las Vegas, was in 1990. We stayed at The Sahara, at the time. They were just building the Excalibur, and the Hard Rock Café. A lot sure has changed!
How nice of a tour you gave of the Flamingo, it really is a pretty place. That was nice you let Jah have fun with her other parents. Your are very thoughtful, I am sure they will miss him and you.
Great video. That Chevron has cool stuff hidden inside. Herbie is my all time favorite movie car. The Love Bug was the first movie I ever saw. The Flamingo is so big and beautiful and awesome. Loved seeing the real flamingos. Thank you for sharing all of this with us. God bless you in everything you do and everywhere you go
Great video Jordan. USA are serious about their Gas truck stations. They are amazing. A copy of the Vegas sign is smart the line is always super long. I love the rich history of Vegas. I love the neon signs. The birds were stunning. Thanks for taking us along. I hope you won some money.
What a pleasant surprise today to find a mid-week vlog. Thanks, Jordan. I’ve never been to Vegas. I enjoyed seeing some of it with you. I noticed at the end when you were showing the stars, what appeared to be Bobby Darrin’s star defaced? That was bizarre. I wonder why.
You're very welcome! I had never been either.. it definitely inspired me to want to make more videos like this of other vegas hotels and casinos in the future
In 1986, my first trip out there, the strip was largely a collection of downscale hotels and fleabag motels. Caesar's Palace was the one place that was really fancy. Downtown wasn't impressive at all. So we returned in 1990 to find lots of new things, including the Mirage, where we saw the white tigers. I was there in 2006 and was astounded at how much it had changed. It had become quite a beautiful place. I'm sure it's even a lot more so now!
I stayed at the Flamingo in October 2019. I had a great old time in Vegas. There is so much history there to see by day and so much fun to have by night.
@@EmDeePhotography We got a free upgrade and had a really nice view of Caesar's Palace and the Strip, but honestly, we were barely in the room, sleeping and to freshen up, but really that's about it. It's in the perfect location. I also loved happy hour at Bugsy's Bar. Next time I go, I will stay somewhere else, but I will definitely visit Flamingo again.
I agree with you about the rooms, I was expecting them to be a little more, I guess, kitsch. Like really make it tacky with the flamingo stuff LOL. But either way it looks really nice and clean and the grounds are beautiful
Hey, Great one !! I like that property, especially the courtyard out back. Stayed there one time back in 2007. The Mini-Suites are much nicer than the room they gave you. My friends go there a lot and get room deals. The Big Wheel there is New, pretty cool.
My father was sent out of Chicago to the Flamingo after Bugsey was eliminated, to set up all the concessions; valet parking, photography, hat check etc. He was there 3 months, never sent a dime to my Mom stuck with a 1 year old and newborn. I was born 10 years later.
I absolutely LOVE White Castles. When I was growing up in Columbus OH went to White Castle everyday. Wish you had smell-a-vision! Sure enjoyed your videos....so educational!
My mom and her friends got to go there back in the early 90's. they stayed at the frontier hotel i believe, if that still exists. i've got pics of them standing outside the Mirage and Ceasars. Vegas has really changed since then
amazing watching the Flamingo. last time and only time I went is to Circus Circus and some others , remember MGM was being built. I stayed at the place called Fitzgerald. wonder if it's still there ?
Great Vlog showing all the beauty and the history of the Flamingo. I would have thought, based on the room's name, a grander interior. Recreating the feel of the original Flamingo. Still a beautiful room.
HEY, JORDAN YEAH, The flamingo pretty cool that have alot of Awesome fountains and statues in the gardens and the Holte it self is nice it is Las Vegas well I enjoyed this vlog keep them coming Take care be safe and have a great time
Great vlog! Love Vegas. It was great seeing the newer version of the Flamingo. I stayed at the original as a kid in the early 70's with my Dad while he was there on business. I love the outside areas of the hotel with the pops of bright pink colored flowers. I also thought the room could have been a little more lux! Everything is larger when your a kid, but when we stayed we had a junior suite and I remember it being pretty awesome. Really enjoyed the vlog. Jah would have loved the ducks and koi fish!!! I can picture him just looking and panting like he does when he's excited. My Chihuahuas are all laying in bed with me while I watch, lol! (Where else would they be?) Jill Gross
Jordan, what can I say? Another GREAT Vlog! Did not know The Flamingo built anew! Fantastic. Thank you for the entertaining and informative Vlogs. Best of luck always. Your friend Kevin in Gulfport FL.
Well done! Loved the Chevron station. Looked like the first airplane you saw at 2:30 looked like Charles Bronson as a pilot! Who can resist a White Castle slider or 2 or10? The Flamingo part of the vlog was really nice! Neat to see those flamingos walking on those tall sticks for legs!
Oh wow it's my dream to travel to Vegas and stay at the flamingo, originally to see Donny & Marie but I never made it, still on my wishlist though so it was awesome to see it with you Jordan, thankyou loved it 😊
Another winner! You showed more of the Flamingo than I saw the last time I was there. I was probably at the slots! LOL. Good job kiddo. Enjoy your new home!
Wow!! You really take the best blogs, Jordan!! I had No idea the Flamingo Casino & Hotel were so beautiful!! Good job, Jordan!! Keep them coming!! 😊✌❤🖖
Most people aren't in their rooms much in Vegas. Just some place to put your stuff and sleep. Unless you want to sleep in the lobby in a corner. LOL. Yes I saw that once when I was there. You had some gigglers near by, LOL. The flamingo area is beautiful. Neat plaque on Bugsy. Beautiful waterfalls from the windows. What happened to Bobby Darin's star? Great video. Nice to see Vegas again. Stay safe and take care.
Hey Jordan, can't wait to get back to Vegas. Just an FYI, @24.07 in your video there is Buddhist shrine called Brahma Shrine. It is basically across from Hell's Kitchen. It is nicely decorated and if I remember has some very cool statues. There are 4 spots there for kneeling and saying a prayer for luck. Whenever I go to Caesars I always stop and say my prayer and make a donation into one of the boxes like you did with the Buddha at The Flamingo. You can see it in the video next to the couple praying. Some times it works and sometimes it doesn't, but you did find a dollar near there. You might also try smuggling Jah into the casinos, I thing he would make a great good luck charm.
@ 26:42-the "headless angel" is from the original Ceasars, I believe-have a photo of it from 1984...I was thinking about it just as you took the shot of it.......
Hey man,we love the videos u make,,silly but cool ,,keep doing what your doing Mr Lion!!! Loved the Allman brothers one,,I've been to Big House before it was a museum,,thanks dude,,
I had friends who threw their parents a second wedding there in the late 90's. We were staying at the BELLAGIO. The tower they were in was part, or all that was torn down apparently. The room was horrible. Even tha lamp shades had tears in them. Pretty seedy looking. The Garden Chapel was where their parents were re-married. Glad they upgraded. It's only the history that makes the Hotel now.
If the over 6,000 people that watch Jordan's videos would give his videos a like it would make such a big difference for Jordan.
Definitely do a vlog on the old downtown hotels like Four Queens and Binion’s Horseshoe. Your fans love to see the old stuff!
Your tour of the grounds of the hotel was awesome. Love that the old Flamingo still is honored at the new hotel. Frank and Dean forever. 😀 Thank you for the walk around.

Love ya Jordan....give Jah a big kiss!!!
It's different now than it used to be. No more lights all over the place when you are coming off the highways. It's all conservation now.
The older places wasted too much space, and lacked enough sleeping rooms. They simply could not compete.
Thanks Jordan! You really are a reprieve to all of us during this coronavirus terror. Those of us who are on lockdown still can travel through your videos. Stay safe!
My uncle was a Pit Boss at the Aladdin until it closed for demolition. Kind of sad that the old ones are gone.
My older brother was a craps dealer at many different casinos. He always worked his way into the top places for tips.
I grew up in Henderson
Very cool video. I'm not a gambler but I love the old history of Vegas.
Thanks ☺️

Only went to Vegas once, 2 years ago. We stayed at the Main Street Station which has some beautiful old Vegas style!
Elvis and Ann Margaret filmed Viva Las Vegas at the Flamingo pool. Remember the Lady Loves me scene where she pushes Elvis into the pool? Great video!

I wish i could have gotten to stay at the original once...

Wow ! The grounds of The Flamingo are incredible. Definitely worth the stay to enjoy. It's really exciting in general to see the country coming back to normal again.
I was amazed at how much there was to see.. I had no idea about the mermaid and things like that.. walk down every pathway..
Appreciate your efforts, what a great veiw, has Vegas ever changed since I was there last! Sheesh that was cool Luv&Peace Jordan n Jah!✌
Thank you Jordan for another great video!!! I absolutely love 🦩🦩🦩🦩
Am I the only one that thought the Bugsy plaque looked more like Ray Walston than Bugsy?
I enjoyed this video so much! You show us all the details of the casino and it’s grounds and say it so well! Thank you Jordan

Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed it
Been here a few years ago and went to the Donny and Marie show. Best show in Vegas!
Wow!! You really take the best blogs, Jordan!! I had No idea the Flamingo Casino & Hotel were so beautiful!! Good job, Jordan!! Keep them coming!! 😊✌❤🖖
Very kind comment. Thanks
You're welcome!! 😊 (I meant to write "vlog" not "blog")
What a great hotel! So happy you did the walking! Whew!
Awesome Vlog Jordan beautiful animal &garden by the way the dinner food looked amazing where was it ?gotta check it out
I thought Vegas was all opened? I guess not everything. Thank you, Jordan! Another awesome vlog!
200k subscribers!! Congrats!👏👏👏
@ 26:42-the "headless angel" is from the original Ceasars, I believe-have a photo of it from 1984...I was thinking about it just as you took the shot of it.......
Hey man,we love the videos u make,,silly but cool ,,keep doing what your doing Mr Lion!!! Loved the Allman brothers one,,I've been to Big House before it was a museum,,thanks dude,,
The resort fees are the casino fees to pay for the cities portion to build Allegiant/Raider Stadium.
Cool, they never used to let you photograph or film in the casinos.
Jordan I enjoyed this one , detailed vlog. I wanna go here now
Woohoo! Congratulations on hitting 200,000!
