I agree. I watched Jaws this past weekend and it was so much better than any of these movies that are out now. I remember deep blue sea, first time i saw it i was like …. JAWS is so much better. Since then the digital sharks have gotten worse.
@@echamata_76 forget about effects ,jaws played out like an experience over two hours ,almost like you were there ,great acting and the way the movie flowed in its two set pieces .Genius writing and directing .

what they should do is the uss indy. story of war, men losing their minds killing each other from delusions and hopelessness, and yes lots of sharks. most of those were atlantic’s maybe some tigers, makos, etc. but have there be one mammoth great white. There’s even legend of a great white being so large it pinged on sub sonar they called that great white the sub. but have it be like jaws where the horror is not knowing what’s there and have the last scene be about the big bad which is this mammoth great white. it would tie into quints story from jaws. i dont want to say a prequel to jaws. i would call the movie “like a dolls eyes” i think it would be epic if they did it right

Sharks are spectacular whose lives are threatened daily by ocean pollution they actually do all possible to avoid people, the biggest predators in the oceans are actually Orcas.

Why not make the ship a giant Octopus' lair or some other weird prehistoric beastie thingy, that we DON'T see until late in the movie....kinda tired of the CGI Sharks inna water tropes nowadays....SMH
