I needed to hear this so much. I let my faith in Jesus weaken, so I could hold on to sin and live comfortably. And I believed the lie that I still followed Jesus as Lord, without obedience or faith in Him.

My family just found out my nephew has epilepsy and is just starting to drive. Plus my dad has stage 4 prostate cancer and we just recently lost my stepmom. I feel like my whole life is falling apart 😂. I tend to strive to lessen people’s burdens and feel as if it is my job to save people. I’m calling on Jesus and knowing he has a plan that I don’t see. I’m Luke warm and from now on I plan to start my day off by reading the word of God and developing a better relationship with God by trusting in his mercy and grace. Thank you pastor Craig for telling me what I need to hear instead of what I want to hear.

Last year was so hard for me… when I am lukewarm I feel I hear from God more. I see his work in such obvious ways but when I start digging in deeper and seeking HIM more I feel I’ve lost him. This year I know I need to seek him more despite all of that. But it makes it hard

God has an amazing way of speaking through his followers to tell me and likely others exactly what they or I needed to hear. I wish I could hear his voice myself but it’s so helpful to have him answer in such incredible ways. Nobody could convince me all the times he’s answered me are coincidence. It’s just not possible. Brother, I've been praying hard for this because I've been praying about what letter (in Revelations) my church body and I fall under. I felt lead to this conclusion, so I've been working on that; to take more action and forgo comfort. A day ago, I was looking into the mirror, and I got the urge to tell myself to do something that requires faith every day. I didn't entertain it for long. Once you said that in the sermon, I knew it was the Holy Spirit 🤣🤣 I'll pray for discerning eyes so that I may be able to do this. That's how we know that we all have the same spirit. God bless you 🙏

Just do one simple thing what do you do? Do something every day that requires faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Hebrews 11:6 and without faith it is impossible to please God. Over the last few years it’s been hard for me to open up and trust people because of a deep betrayal I went through but it’s hard to feel like I belong in any community. God has an amazing way of speaking through his followers to tell me and likely others exactly what they or I needed to hear. I wish I could hear his voice myself but it’s so helpful to have him answer in such incredible ways. Nobody could convince me all the times he’s answered me are coincidence. It’s just not possible. Thank you lord. Thank you for answering and reminding me of your presence.

Brother, I've been praying hard for this because I've been praying about what letter (in Revelations) my church body and I fall under. I felt lead to this conclusion, so I've been working on that; to take more action and forgo comfort. A day ago, I was looking into the mirror, and I got the urge to tell myself to do something that requires faith every day. I didn't entertain it for long. Once you said that in the sermon, I knew it was the Holy Spirit 🤣🤣 I'll pray for discerning eyes so that I may be able to do this. That's how we know that we all have the same spirit. God bless you 🙏

UFF I Didn’t realize that I might be lukewarm. If you want to grow out of the Christian-ish illusion and self deception and truly be a devoted follower of Jesus. Just do one simple thing what do you do? Do something every day that requires faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Hebrews 11:6 and without faith it is impossible to please God. I need to step out in faith in regards to having fellowship. Over the last few years it’s been hard for me to open up and trust people because of a deep betrayal I went through but it’s hard to feel like I belong in any community. Writing this comment is me stepping out in faith. I need prayer please.
Father, I lift up Vanessa to You, asking for healing in her heart as she struggles with trust. Help her to find peace in Your love and to trust others in Your timing. Start with forgiveness, forgive any and all , no matter how small. If someone bumps you on accident, forgive them, and say it out loud to God. Clear your mind of all things needing forgiveness.
