- Hey guys, I'm back with another video!! So, we're back with another Scream movie this time I sat down to watch Scream 3 just before the release of Scream 5 this Friday!! I honestly had no idea what to expect with this one but I didn't expect it to be so confusing!! The only thing I really understood were how odd Gail's (Courtney's) bangs were... well they kinda grew on me but anyway. Enjoy! xo

In the "apocryphal canon" of the Scream movies, Angelina was Roman's accomplice. My personal theory is that she could have been responsible for the gas leak that blew up the house and killed Tom the actor. But she was ultimately double-crossed and killed by Roman. At least that's my fan theory about her.
Courtney has declared that the bangs were cut on set and it was an accident. They weren’t supposed to be that short, but someone measured wrong and by the time she realized, the damage was done.
The bangs aren’t real.
They are part of a synthetic material/wig. They were cut, and then attached to her real hair.

You are right about Angelina x) the movie was shot to have two killers and Angelina was supposed to be the second (she was supposed to be obsessed with Sid since high school) the studio rejected the idea but Wes Craven shot the film having two killers, it's obvs there are two and I think it was a way for Wes to tell fans "you'll get it, there are two killers but only one reveal" and the bangs by now are iconic 😂
There are deleted scenes that actually showed what would have had to have been a second killer.
The main issue with a single killer is the scene with the fax machine. How would Roman have been faxing those from on site? Angelina was also there, though.

I’m really surprised you didn’t realize that was Carrie Fisher from Star Wars. She played Princess/General Leia Organa. She passed away a few years ago. She was an inspiration to hundreds of millions of people for playing such a badass when there were no badass women on screen in the 70s/80s. She was a badass in real life too. She struggled with Bipolar Disorder and was a huge advocate for mental health. I miss her so much! You gotta watch her interviews! She’s funny as hell!

The most horrifying thing in this movie are Gale's bangs . It looks so bad
honestly hate the bangs all you want they are ICONIC, and jennifer is bat shit crazy but so hilarious, the whole movie is so camp but the girls who get it get it
I think they look okay when she has a pony tail actually, this is the lack of overall volume that is bothering me more when her hair is loose.

It took awhile for this movie to grow on me bc I wasn't sure about the brother storyline either but it's one my favorties out of the franchise. I'm so surprised you didn't like Jennifer! 😂she's my favorite out of the new cast.
Still not a fan of the bangs, but Courtney has 👌🏻bone structure so she kinda rocks it.
As for a movie rec, you should totally check out Cruel Intentions if you haven't already.It's not horror but it is an iconic moment in pop culture! I've only seen one reactor watch this which is shocking. It also has a great cast. 😌Great video, excited for the 4th!

Tragic how no one is talking about Patrick Dempsey and how GORGEOUS he and his hair look in this movie! Speaking of, you should definitely check out Can't Buy Me Love (1987). It's an absolute classic and so worth the watch 💗

Fun fact: there was a second Ghostface, it was the actor who played Sidney in the movie. There are still hints of it on there (bathrooms scene she was trying to change into her Ghostface outfit)

Like what kind of conversation was that? "Honey, I know a great way to spice up date night this Friday. I'm going to dress up like Ghostface." Just...what? No. Nope.
Also, Angelina and Roman were supposed to be lovers as wells as partners in killing originally. But the script was leaked so people found out about her and they were doing rewrites of the script as they were filming scenes. So when you yelled "It's her!" I was like good call because yeah, she was set up to look sketchy.

The fact he didn’t recognize Patrick Dempsey baffles me. He’s gorgeous and has been in so many great shows and movies 😭
This is a two years old but it popped up in my feed just now. This may have been mentioned, but I didn't see it in scrolling down a bit. One fan theory (which fits a bit with the history of the various script rewrites) is that Angelina was the second killer. And then either Roman decided he didn't need her any more and offed her or they faked her death and she slunk off into hiding afterwards.
When I first saw it, I was thinking "half sibling" as soon as the bit that Maureen had been sexually victimized. I didn't get that it was Roman, but I did get that she had a sibling.
Another thing that folk have speculated on was that this movie was Wes Craven's way of calling out Weinstein. And the line "if I said anything it would make me a suspect" was basically daring Weinstein to object to it.

I've watched so many people react to this movie and every single one they just tear those bangs apart and I love it
I remember the entirety of the third movie it wasn’t even the kills or anything that freaked me out, it was always, and still is, the like hallucinations of Sydney’s mom’s ghost. It always just shakes me to my fricking core.

Angelina was supposed to be Roman's girlfriend and accomplice, but the movie was rewritten to take out that reveal. Despite all of the set up for her being a killer still being left in the movie.

Parker Posey was a bad ass for acting as gale shes iconic in this movie i was so sad when her character Jennifer died😪😭😭 I just started watching dawsons creek and its this one character that looked familiar nd I couldn’t remember but hes freaking roman in this movie 😂

About this video specifically: love your obsession with Angelina being the killer, as the script was basically rewritten a few times while shooting and in one of those versions Angelina was Roman's accomplice! Iirc in another draft kancaid was supposed to be the killer but don't take my word on that, hahaha.
Also another fun fact: if you thought Roman's scream at the ice pic scene was realistic, that's cuz it was a genuine scream as Neve accidentally stabbed Scott with it while shooting 💀

so excited for you to watch scream 4! there's actually a scream tv show with 2 seasons (i like to pretend the 3rd season doesn't exist lol). it doesn't have any relation to the movies, but it's still pretty good and, imo, worth watching!

There are some scenes in this film that make you believe theres 2 killers because angelina was meant to be a killer but it was changed to just roman

You definitely need to start the Halloween films then Nightmare on Elm Street then make your way through the Friday the 13th films. Also Exorcist if you haven’t seen that one. Those are definitely the major classics for horror.
It's not a classic, but it's a worthy "nod" to slashers of the last 50 years: Fear Street trilogy on Netflix. I feel like you are going to love it.

A lot of the ghostface attacks in this movie don’t really add up because he would’ve had to be in 2 places at once, since Angelina was supposed to be the other killer.
