Bobby is one of a kind truly. I’m not into kpop too much, but when I discovered Bobby I was like wow. He’s just more than kpop. Others are just cute kids trying to imitate something. They're all great rappers but I felt like he kind of out-performed them here, even though neither song was his. During his parts, he made it his own. If he's this good pre-debut, I'm almost afraid to see how much better he's going to get with experience. I thoroughly enjoyed Mino's reactions during the entire show. He was fanboying so hard, especially during his YG labelmates' performances (not to mention the EXO body-wave. lol). He's such a supportive hyung/friend/hoobae.

some people need to understand that there isn't only one style of rap. Some rappers slur their words, some rappers emphasize every syllable, some rappers have accents, some rappers rap faster than others, some rap slower than others, and some rap along with the off beat. Stop thinking that there is a meaning or rule book to hip hop because you will never find one. There is no "proper way" to rap or produce hip hop. I'm not an expert on rap, nor do I rap. I don't really know what to judge in a rap. I just like what sounds good to me. (I'm not saying I like every rapper out there, but I know a good one, for me, when I see/hear one) The point is.. well some people down there are saying he's not a good rapper because he slurs his words or because he's too hyper on stage. They say he's not good enough for 1lly. But.. what does turn up mean? There's one meaning that it's to be really high or drunk. But the other meaning is to be really hyper and excited and just.. crazy. Which is what Bobby is XD and since 1lly is so caught up on that phrase, Bobby really does suit it well.
I don't agree with rappers slurring their words. Rapping fast means you've lost some of the words to speed. You don't need slurring to cause people to not understand a single thing you say. Lyrics are there for a reason. But I agree to the rest of what you said. :D PEACE.

Fan chants are usually organized by fan clubs and maybe the management or artists themselves, not entirely sure... which is why music shows boast some good fan chants imo. And the reason why these big award shows usually happen outside of Korea is probably because of the bias crowd --- to which I agree with you since I think this crowd is very biased in terms of being responsive. They only scream when they see they oppas lol
It is an award show thats why not many people chant unless the artist/group interacts with them. Even looking at other awards show, the audience tends to stay quiet because its respecting the artist when the are either speaking or performing

Bobby is one of a kind truly. I’m not into kpop too much, but when I discovered Bobby I was like wow. He’s just more than kpop. Others are just cute kids trying to imitate something. I’ve never seen anyone in kpop with such hype and energy. Btw I watched all other rappers of popular trendy groups, they are not even close to him. Bobby’s just on another level in his own league.

Bobby is just insanely talented. They're all great rappers but I felt like he kind of out-performed them here, even though neither song was his. During his parts, he made it his own. If he's this good pre-debut, I'm almost afraid to see how much better he's going to get with experience.
I thoroughly enjoyed Mino's reactions during the entire show. He was fanboying so hard, especially during his YG labelmates' performances (not to mention the EXO body-wave. lol). He's such a supportive hyung/friend/hoobae.
I'm crying iKON hasn't debuted yet in this moment but Hanbin and Bobby got to performed in this stage I'm so proud of my children 😭

some people need to understand that there isn't only one style of rap.
Some rappers slur their words, some rappers emphasize every syllable, some rappers have accents, some rappers rap faster than others, some rap slower than others, and some rap along with the off beat.
Stop thinking that there is a meaning or rule book to hip hop because you will never find one. There is no "proper way" to rap or produce hip hop.
I'm not an expert on rap, nor do I rap. I don't really know what to judge in a rap. I just like what sounds good to me. (I'm not saying I like every rapper out there, but I know a good one, for me, when I see/hear one)
The point is.. well some people down there are saying he's not a good rapper because he slurs his words or because he's too hyper on stage. They say he's not good enough for 1lly.
But.. what does turn up mean? There's one meaning that it's to be really high or drunk. But the other meaning is to be really hyper and excited and just.. crazy.
Which is what Bobby is XD and since 1lly is so caught up on that phrase, Bobby really does suit it well.
I don't agree with rappers slurring their words. Rapping fast means you've lost some of the words to speed. You don't need slurring to cause people to not understand a single thing you say. Lyrics are there for a reason. But I agree to the rest of what you said. :D PEACE.

Fan chants are usually organized by fan clubs and maybe the management or artists themselves, not entirely sure... which is why music shows boast some good fan chants imo. And the reason why these big award shows usually happen outside of Korea is probably because of the bias crowd --- to which I agree with you since I think this crowd is very biased in terms of being responsive. They only scream when they see they oppas lol
It is an award show thats why not many people chant unless the artist/group interacts with them. Even looking at other awards show, the audience tends to stay quiet because its respecting the artist when the are either speaking or performing
