Johnny Howson put in a stellar performance ( his best game for the Boro). Also outstanding were Jones, Tavernier, Fry and Crooks. Even Lumley had a very solid game for once. Some finish from the local stripling, Coburn, who, surely, deserves to play more, especially as a super-sub. I must also commend the crowd who injected so much energy and fight into the team. Wilder and Middlesbrough are a heavenly match. Hope we get another hope draw now.

Every player was incredible from goalkeeper to striker to substituted. Everyone involved made a night I’ll never forget. Let’s take it into Saturday
