I went back to PES 2021. eFootball just doesn't have the modes to make it worthwhile. I played it for a year but the Ultimate Team stuff always runs out of steam for me. I'm excited for 2K's effort. They've got a proven track record with the NBA 2K games and I'm hoping that translates to a sport I really, really care about.
To me, PES 2013 was the best football game ever, I would like a game similar to that. Simple, yet hard to master. When two people who know football meet, the games can look realistic and interesting. Unlike FIFA/EAFC where everything is stupid, unrealistic skill moves and this new PES, eFootball.. which is absolute garbage, no other explanation for eFootball.
I personally dont care about famous football players at all. I just want good physics/gameplay. Today after MANY patchies efootball from konami- free to play is the best choice. Dont know much about the UFL. All sport games should be free to play and just update twice a year and keep playing. Without releasing a new game every year and start everything from scratch. Need something like that for NHL too.

I play seasons on Fifa/FC but really have it to play my mates online. Current FC24 is broken for co-op and the scripting is horrendous. Efootball isn't good enough to warrant spending money on either but the selection of teas to play a mate is shit

Mods exist to enhance & prolong already-good games. Everyone who uses them knows we don't need to buy sport games annually to keep them up-to-date. I haven't seen sport games youtubers talking abt mods to raise awareness of how annual releases are actually a scam. Some won't be able to play online with mods but it would've been better to stop buying sport games to make those big companies care & innovate instead of scamming their way to success, if you will
5:00 is the single biggest problem with the FIFA/FC franchise. I use to think I was insane the way I could predict how matches would turn out. Then I figured out it was scripting. I’ve always liked battling in the midfield because that seems to be the only time you have some control.
I'm from Brazil and I played every day of the beta and I liked the beginning of the game but there are points that need improvement such as: 1 - the players' running is bad, they advance too much, the running is almost useless in the game. 2 - the direction of passes and throws are sometimes bad, the ball doesn't go in the right direction. 3 - Placed shots are very strong. 4 - Many crashes. 5 - Goal players are very easy to buy, you have to make it more difficult. But the game has many strong points, improving what it needs can make the game very successful! I just ask that you don't put a handicap on it and it's not Pay to Win
idk if this happened to anybody else, but i started a my career player last month, and i got him up all the way to a 92 overall and in like the 5th year into the career, anyway i try to login and it kept crashing and saying error, and then i switched to a different career save to see if that worked and it was fine, then when i backed out my main career save was completely gone. Just deleted by itself and i’ve never felt like i’ve wasted so much time in my life ever, EA is unbelievable.

There something up with the AI within EA FC or in fifa in general. Sometime when in chilling I play professional difficulties in manager and I swear the cpu always scores the most unrealistic goals sometimes twice in one game. I will never purchase another EA game ever again
Lower rated players often seem oblivious to the players with the ball, high rated players (REYNALDO) seem hard to take the ball from the closer they are to the goal
I'm also a unfortunate buyer of FIFA/FC every year, although usually at half price 3-6 months after release, as for the dogwater Ultimate Team mode, I last touched it in Fifa 17 or something and after the rage, I never touched it again, no matter how many packs Prime Gaming gives me every other week to redeem lmao. In FC, the players open up like mad, you enter another game, they stand with a stake, the defenders are wingers, then they connect, then they stand down, although I did not change the tactics
In FC25 You cant fix that defenders dont recognise the ball coming their way, it was logical and automatic that they make the move when ball is close to them, now they are running away from the ball. Maybe someone tried to make game only for pro players who are doing absolutely everything manually, but they absolutely destroy the game for regular players because there is absolutely no defense. Defenders should have advantage, its enough to push the ball and run, and nobody can stop you, its stressful and impossible to play for people who want to relax and enjoy easy gameplay and fun!
I'm excited it's looking like we're gonna have 3 games to choose from going forward instead of the same bollocks year after year. I think personally the 2k game is gonna be top tier but this is still a breath of fresh air for football game fans 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Gameplay definitely needs improvement, inputs take forever to work, passes can be a disaster and defensive placement is non-existent. But hopefully they can get the game in playing condition in the meanwhile.

I can say that UFL beta was more enjoyable online in terms of gameplay than both currently efootball and ea fc. not sure how anyone can say they don't miss this beta when compared to both of those same old boring games EA and Konami for the last 10 years or so

EFL has a lot of work ahead of it and there are issues, but the devs have shown they are open to feedback and what they’ve released so far has given me enough evidence to back them fully over EAFC and Efootball who only care about profit over product. The skin and levelling system is unique and the gameplay can be really smooth and works well most of the time. Give the developers your support and this game could be so much better than EAFC. Stop comparing what the game is Now And focus on what the game could be if you put a bit of faith in the devs. The devs have been open and honest and actually care about their community.
Efootball has the best gameplay of any football game hands down, but its presentation and lack of content is the reason why it’s not more popular than any of these other games. I’ve literally had people watch me play efootball and thought it was a real game on telly.

I normally play EAFC with sliders but UFL is wayy to fast the acceleration is OP, the keepers are too OP, the movement is so chunky etc

PES/eFootball is the most realistic playing football game atm. I play Fifa with mates, but head back to eFootball when playing by myself.
