    HOW IT WORKS
    The Pomodoro Technique:
The Pomodoro Technique is a productivity and time management technique that aims to maximize focus with regular breaks to keep your mind fresh, reducing mental fatigue. It minimizes distractions while discouraging multitasking and procrastination.
It is best suited for routine or discrete tasks and subtasks. If you're working on a larger project, it's best to break up into smaller chunks..
In practice, begin the video to simply focus on uninterrupted work for 25 minutes then take a 5 minute break. The Isochronic Pomodoro Timer signals you to begin work and when to take the break. It does this in 3 ways:
    1) Voice alerts from my bride's soothing voice provide audible prompts
    2) Different colored screens provide visual prompts for work (blue) and break (black) periods
    3) A visual countdown timer lets you know how much time remains in 1 minute intervals. (Silent so it doesn't interrupt your work but there should you need to check). Break periods also include a reminder to stand up, walk, stretch, and give your eyes a rest from the computer screen.
For extended use, take an longer 15-20 minute break after four Pomodoro cycles to maximize productivity throughout the day.
    Isochronic Tones:
Isochronic tones are rhythmic tones that aim to sync your brain -- brainwave entrainment -- to a specific frequency to achieve desired objectives. A 12-16Hz cycle is associated with active, conscious thinking, concentration, problem solving, and forming ideas.
The Isochronic Pomodoro Timer aims to sync your brainwaves to 16Hz to help you get and remain alert, putting you in the zone to focus on your work with minimum mental fatigue.
And since they're isochronic tones, you won't need headphones as long as the tones are audible (unlike binaural beats). Note however, that using headphones will maximize the effect and help block background noise and distractions even further.
    Ambient Sounds:
Ambient sounds are meant to be soothing and nonintrusive helping you to relax and focus while working, particularly if you're doing creative tasks. If you require deeper focus, I recommend the "voice alert only" version • Video
Note: If you have a favorite ambient sound, include a comment below and I'll see what I can do.
    Screen Color:
Blue has been shown to boost memory and cognition so a blue screen for work periods and a black, neutral color for the breaks is included to provide visual prompts.
    Tips for extended use:
    - Alternate between headphones and speakers between Pomodoro cycles
    - Consider using "voice alert only" version occasionally throughout the day at • Video
