If I had a magic door - I would open it and push through a plate of these peanut cookies I made with a hot cuppa for you. Watching your videos (and playing with succulents) helped me through a difficult time during covid lockdowns when I was feeling isolated and sad. The sound of your voice reminds me of one of my favourite Aunties and is very comforting. And your enthusiasm for life is always so cheering. I hope you have better days soon 🌤☕🍀

Oh Liz! I'm so sorry to hear about your husband! You talking about being sad and started tearing up made me cry. Please DO take the time you need to be sad. Even when the succulents need watered! Even when other things need to be done! I lost my sister almost 1 year ago this month and have learned you must take time to feel every bit of it. Give yourself permission to feel it and it's ok to have days where things don't get done. That's O.K.! Grief is such a hard thing. Please take care of yourself

My dearest Liz, hearing the sadness in your voice 2:07minutes I instantly welled up in tears😭. Still so hard to comprehend he passed. It feels like yesterday we were in your lounge room chatting away as you whipped us up a snack in the kitchen 😢 You are never far from my thoughts. Liz, I started my gardening and love for succulents because of you & your channel, that inspired me to collect my own and create my own channel so I can save all my plants photos & videos.I love all your collections, they are stress reliever but they can be jeopardizing our health as well, Im Registered Nurse here in US, + spent too much time in gardening as well and I always get runny nose, watery eyes and (allergies) from soil mixing, soil, grass and so I have to wear mask and take my allergy pill everyday.Hope you take good care of yourself as well because I want to see all your collections grew more beautiful.Youre an inspiration.Hope to see you & your collections when I visit Australia one day.

I love your attitude towards life, you are making yourself be cheerful, for Baby P. Plus you are making your yard much cleaner, a bit at a time. But as you say, Rome wasn't built in a day. Working outside really does help take the stress away. I felt so bad for you when, you almost broke down. Keep getting out in your yard as much as possible, you will forget your troubles at least for a short time, and that's so good for you. You have such a beautiful garden filled with your love of plants. They are all such beautiful, plants. Succulents and cactus, That I have never seen before, and you know all the names and varieties. Your Yard will soon really shine, again. I loved your broom. :)
Please keep having that can do attitude, you are always so busy. I am in Alberta, Canada and when I see your winters, I truly wish our's were like that. We have up to 3-4 feet on snow, on the ground all winter. That's when My tiny collection of succulents and cactus really make me Happy. I hope your Kiwi tree isn't dead, they are so delicious. But maybe you can get another if it is. Thank you for another video, of you taking us along in your and Baby P's life. God Bless you both.

G'day Liz, don't worry about what the neighbors think, you are going through a rough time, the garden can be slow going, if they knew you they will know you are in mourning, it would be awful to think they expected you to have it perfect still.. Lots of Hugs from a follower who lost her dad cpl mths ago, but i don't have a beautiful garden to work in though

I wholeheartedly agree, movement and tasks to complete and someone to care for-including yourself-are the way through. Going through the motions reminds us why we do those things and lets us find joy in them again. And then when we need to, take the time again to honor that grief that comes from a place of love too. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

He's grieving. All he does is eat and sleep all day. He also stopped playing and talking. He's experienced this before when he was a year old, and he did not see us for 6 months.

I have been losing so many plants 🪴 since summer hit. For some reason, the water does not go away. Do you have any suggestions for me. Outside is 110 degrees. And the water still doesn't go away. Harumph! Any ideas.
