From here how would I go about downloading mods such as SkyUI, as I thought they require SKSE, which I don't know how to make work with the skyrim together exe
Look up how to use mod organizer 2 and how to link it to nexus, then at nexus mods in the files section of any mod press mod manager download and it will be downloaded to the mod organizer downloads tab double click on it then click the checkmark to enable it
The process is a little different. When you get SKSE, you need to download the newest SKSE for Anniversary Edition. The rest of the process should be the same, putting the SKSE files in your Skyrim directory and linking it in Mod Organizer 2. If I have time, I'll make video on it.
@@yomiisupergames That doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I too am having a similar issue and it seems I need to either launch with SKSE, or launch with Skyrim togther. How exactly do you pair the two? I created a MO2 SKSE data directory, as well as created a shortcut for both SKSE64 and Skyrim Together, when launching Together, SKSE does not launch.

One way to locate the skyrimSE.exe is to right click on Skyrim: Special Edition in your Steam library, and click on Manage -> Browse local files. That should get you to the right directory, so you'll at least know where it should be.

When you download Address Library, you can try selecting "Manual Download". Then, in Mod Organizer 2 click on the File tab in the top left, and then click on "Install Mod". Navigate to where you downloaded Address Library, select the Zip file and then click Open. Install as you normally would.
I'd like to use some mods with this. Only visual mods, SKYUI and ENBs. But I can't get SKSE to work properly with Skyrim Together. At least whenever I launch Skyrim Together I get an SKSE error message. If I ignore it the game runs normally (with the very limited testing I did). SkyUI works too. When I tried to launch Skyrim Together over the SKSE Launcher, it didn't recognize the Addresse Library anymore (for whatever reason). And If I try to add character makeovers like Pandorables mods, half of the females go bald xD I'm confused as to how to fix these issues.
So I havnt tested this myself yet but I’m assuming after you run “SkyrimTogether.exe” and it opens what Skyrim to run, open the skse skyrim not the default
@leviathan4318 no sadly. It's been a while since I tried but back when I play the last time, I set up a different profile in Vortex. One for Solo and one for Skyrim Together. Mods that didn't work in Skyrim Together because they relied too much on SKSE functionality I disabled every time before I started playing.
Whenever I opened my mod organizer it doesnt register elder scrolls SE for me. When I go to browse for it and go to the folder its located it I cant see it it doesnt recognize it
Okay so there are two things you can try. The first is to uninstall Skyrim Special Edition in Steam, redownload it and then verify the install. The other the way you can try is finding and getting rid of old installations of Mod Organizer 2 and making a fresh install of it.

@@kingleonitus12 so the issue is that the devs of the reborn mod recommend playing on SE but I kept getting the said error until I upgraded to AE. That was my solution. I would just recommend uninstalling all the AE addons but keeping the version

Go ahead and dowdload it, if you want to corrupt your files, your game, your mods. Enjoy! Dumbest mod ever. Biggest work around to halfass play with friends to kinda play with people and only 1 person can run quest, people cant pick up items together, GIANT waste of time. DO NOT BOTHER. You will end up deleting skyrim and ALL files to remove the curruption just to be able to play again.

Are you using ReShade or anything? I know that ReShade can block the Skyrim Together menu
@@yomiisupergames no I am not, I somehow got it to work with mod organizer 2 though but only sometimes. It wont pop up the menu some times

It Just Doesn't Work At The Last Part I cant find skyrimSE.exe so i cant even choose my directory for the game

I solved the problem by downgrading the version of my game to 1.6.353
