I just want my money to keep outgrowing the inflation rate. That’s why I'm looking for companies now to put in $80k for a start. Just don't know strategies to employ in buying stocks to invest in
The rules are simple. Chose quality stocks and follow them up. If you're not one for such complexities, hire a wealth manager to grow your money. I use the latter. Pulled in more than $46k in the last two months alone.
I agree with you. This is what I do too. I'm not cut out for financial reports and industry news, so I use a wealth manager. Profits have been very consistent since 2020. i've pulled in roughly $1M in ROI since then
Hey, I've been thinking about switching but have been hesitant. Could you recommend your financial advisor? I'd appreciate some assistance.

The rising interest rate can surely control inflation, but won't prevent erosion of the eroding purchasing power of the US dollar. I have learnt my lesson this time. The banks can't be making money off my money, while inflation eats into it. I have set aside 650k to invest in the stock market now, since that keeps up with inflation, but I don't know how to get started.
Keeping money in the bank is like paying banks and the Govemment. Here's how it works: The bank gives out your money as loan, and charge interest obviously higher than inflation rate, and then give you, the depositor, interest lower than inflation rate. That means net loss for you. That is why I prefer to invest, and on average, my advisor makes returns that always beats inflation!
Since I need some recommendations, may I ask who your advisor is, as I've had doubts about banks for a while?

All I want is for my money to continue to increase faster than inflation. I am currently searching for businesses willing to contribute $200k as a starting capital. Just unsure of the tactics to use when purchasing stocks to make investments in
The guidelines are straightforward. Select high-quality stocks and monitor them. To grow your money, hire a wealth manager if you're not into such complicated things. I make advantage of the latter. brought in around $60K just in the previous two months.
Focus on two key objectives. Learn when to sell stocks to minimize losses and maximize gains to start protecting yourself. Second, prepare to make money when the market turns around. I advise speaking with a broker or financial counselor.
Yes, I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I covid. Investing in trending companies is relatively easy today; the trick is determining when to purchase and sell. I started with a $300K reserve that was initially dormant; my adviser decides when to enter and exit my portfolio; since then, I have accumulated over a million dollars.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation

Inflation is far more harmful to individuals than a collapsing stock or property market because it directly affects people's cost of living, which they immediately feel. It is not surprising that the current market sentiment is extremely pessimistic. In today's economy, assistance is critical if we are to survive.
It has never been simpler to grasp how to expand your wealth than it is right now, thanks to the availability of competent portfolio advisors that can help you experience and learn about a market with a wide range of assets. I think it's impossible to predict how changing dollar values will affect assets.
If you lack market knowledge, your best bet is to seek advice or support from a consultant or investing coach. Contacting a consultant may sound simple, but it's how I've managed to stay afloat in the market and increase my portfolio to roughly 65% since January. It is, in my opinion, the best way to get started in the industry right now.
Please let me know the name of the investment consultant you work with and, if possible, how I can contact them.

In light of the diminished inflation signals and the Federal Reserve's decision to suspend rate hikes, which investments would be the greatest additions to a $120K portfolio to improve portfolio performance this year?
Seek for stocks that have maintained consistent dividend growth over many years, especially during recessions, and have not reduced their payouts. As an alternative, consulting a licenced market strategist can provide guidance on which stocks to buy.
It is true that some people use hedging strategies or allocate a portion of their portfolio to defensive assets that do well during market downturns. These kinds of tips can be obtained by hiring market experts, as I did in 2019 during the rona outbreak. Today, I can report a 45% increase in my $1 million portfolio after purchasing assets that my advisor recommended.
In order to improve my plans and save my portfolio, I require guidance. How is this advisor reachable?

This is how, once the rate cutting starts, inflation will start to most likely pick up and then FED will start a MASSIVE RATE HIKE to 10% FED FUNDS rate; Hence this outcome will cause and start depression. Today, those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much already over 10%. Its already catching up with my $220k stock portfollo.
Cuts in rates will soon start. At this stage, get advice from a financial counselor if you're not familiar with investing in the present market. first and foremost,
Agreed! this is why I now work with one. Now my $620k portfolio is well-matched for every market season yielding 85% rise from early last year to date. The system is failing as a result of both government and federal policy. In the next days, the banking crisis would have to be epic and gigantic for the FED to decide not to raise interest rates. This won't happen; an increase and a crash are coming. There will be more negative portfolios this 2nd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?
Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder
Very true, you can be passively involved in the markts and still amass wealth-gains using an investment advisor. I first dabbled in stocks late 2019, just before the pandemic, and that same year gained over 150% with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was following directions of my advisor. We are working on a retirement ballpark of $3m and I’m certain my goal isn’t farfetched after subsequent investments and tremendous returns so far.

If you are properly prepared and knowledgeable, every crash/collapse/inflation or recession gives an equal market opportunity. I've seen folks amass up to $800k from the market throughout crises and even do it with ease in a terrible economy.
There are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience
To be safe and not second guess your market decisions, I’d suggest you reach out to a proper investment adviser for guidance, they understand better market patterns and adjusting portfolio to match up with these market trends.

Inflation hits people a lot harder than a crashing stock or housing market as it directly affects people's cost of living that people immediately feel the impact of. It's not surprising negative market sentiment is so high now. We really need help to survive in this Economy.

The economy is favorable to those who where able to get themselves into one investment or another, most people see investment as something big they can’t participate in because they’re too scared to venture into one.
Today we have a lot of opportunities to invest in different commodities, stocks, cryptocurrencies and so much more but some people just sees this as a challenge and shy away from it
So true, thanks for bringing this up to my notice, the truth is this economy wouldn’t be so bad if people indulge themselves more with various investments rather than just depending on their stipends and savings, because the economy wouldn’t always remain as it was
The philosophy of the rich and the poor is this
" the rich invest their money and spend what is left, the poor spend their money and invest what is left"
Poor people think about what they can buy with their money, rich people think about what they can invest in with their money.
Because of the economic crisis and the rate of unemployment, now is the best time to invest in crypto and make money 💯. But you have to invest with the right broker. Anyone here that Know more about crypto currency let talk more about it

I recommend diversifying your investments by considering stocks alongside real estate. During a recession, there are potential buying opportunities in the stock market if approached cautiously. Additionally, market volatility can offer short-term buying and selling opportunities. However, please note that this is not financial advice. It's important to be proactive in investing as cash may not be the most advantageous option during these times.
In these uncertain times, it's more important than ever to have a solid understanding of how to manage your finances, invest wisely and navigate economic downturns.
Accurate asset allocation is crucial, and some individuals use hedging strategies or allocate part of their portfOlio to defensive assets for market downturns. Expert guidance is vital for achieving this. This approach has helped me stay finan-cially secure for over five years, yielding nearly $5 million in returns on invest-ments.

The FED lowered its inflation objective to less than 2% in 2012. They changed the target to a long-term average of 2% inflation. Because long-term interest rates are set at inflation plus a profit margin, the implication is lower interest rates. I consider the current rising interest rate to be a very serious issue it will cause more investors to withdraw from the market. But then despite the severe bear market, I am aware of certain investors that continue to earn over $365,000. Wish I could accomplish that.

Inflation depreciates idle money. I'm in a privileged position to be able to save almost 65% of our net household income, as I placed it on safer investments. The key for us was not spending beyond our means. If you invest and have other sources of income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends. Got north of $200K in my portfolio as I bought a lot of dividend stocks before, I'm buying more now, and I will buy more when it drops further
The main problem is that most folks don’t care about anything other than football, Basketball and Music etc. They find it normal to take credit card debt which will cost them 20percent per year but considers it risky to invest their money and make 10percent or more per month. Learning to avoid high interest debt while also learning how to put your money to work for you by investing is a very powerful combo
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. The way I see it this recession most likely has an external cause. The United States is losing influence as a federal currency for the first time in decades. They don't have any more economies to utilize to control their inflation, and less money is being spent on stock and oil trading than previously. They all lend credence to the hypothesis that a new multilateral world order may be in the works.

Given the persisting global economic crisis, it's essential for individuals to focus on diversifying their income streams independent of governmental reliance. This involves exploring options such as stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the adversity in the economy, now is an opportune moment to contemplate these investment avenues.
The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

Accurate asset allocation is crucial, and some individuals use hedging strategies or allocate part of their portfOlio to defensive assets for market downturns. Expert guidance is vital for achieving this. This approach has helped me stay finan-cially secure for over five years, yielding nearly $1 million in returns on invest-ments.

My greatest concern is how to recover from all these economic and global troubles and stay afloat especially with the political power tussle going on in US.
The FED knows. They aren't committed to attacking inflation. They are going to continue to inflate, stocks and commodities will continue to go up with everything else. You can't just sit on cash waiting for a crash, get your money working for you, start buying in slowly and then gradually increase the pace of buying as the prices continue to drop.

In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.
Despite utilizing the correct strategies and possessing the right assets, there can still be variations in the investment returns among different investors. It is important to acknowledge that experience plays a crucial role in investment success. More immediately than a collapse in the stock or real estate markets, inflation directly impacts people's standard of life. It is hardly surprising that the present market attitude is so negative. Given the high inflation, the use of coupons is more widespread than ever and many people rely on them not only for the purchase of food but also
for clothing and much more. The transition to the 8112 digital coupon format is imminent. Qples by Fobi is the only platform able to provide
physical/digital coupons anywhere in the world redeemable in real time! This is very valuable for the big CPG brands as they allow them to improve
their Roi but above all customer loyalty, which has proven to change brands if the situation is advantageous.
McDonalds, burger King and many other brands could use Qples by fobi coupons to increase customer loyalty, Roi and improve their margins.
Given the high inflation that has led to the reduction in consumer purchasing power, CPGs are looking for new ways to attract customers.
I think the arrival of digital coupons and the transition to 8112 has been accelerated by all of this.
The decline in margins and profits that we are witnessing of many tech companies, once considered leaders,
confirm the shift of the consumer in search of better opportunities and bargains offered by coupons.
We look forward to the transition to 8112 and the benefits it will bring not only to major brands and retailers but to consumers as well.
This transition will eliminate coupon fraud with significant improvements including real-time redemption and increased customer retention.
Economist, you missed the point.
Banks borrow money from the Central bank (who prints money and lends it to the nation's banks) for which they have to pay interest. When Central banks lower interest rates, banks get money for cheap and their customers get cheap loans. This leads to more spending in the economy creating asset bubbles and higher inflation.
Now, Central bank steps in and increases interest rates, making borrowing more expensive for the banks as they have to pay a higher interest rate. This increased cost of borrowing is passed on to the customers in the form of higher interest rates on their loans and mortgages.
This would, in theory, squeeze consumers' spending power and bring down prices in the economy as demand dampens. Basically, central banks are slowing the economy by raising interest rates...they don't want you to go out and eat 7 days a week, but 2 days. Rest of the days, eat at home :) Why? The economy needs to be cooled.
That might apply to individuals but individuals do not constantly take out loans to eat. The main "consumer" for bank loans are businesses themselves. Most businesses are constantly using loans to expand and grow or pad out their yearly numbers. Now, new money will be more expensive for them to borrow. They will still need to borrow each year but now at a higher interest rate. In order to maintain their yearly projections, they will have to pass the new cost of borrowing money onto consumers in the form of price increases which is another form of inflation. That or they will no longer be able to rely on cheap no interest loan money and will have to increase their revenues in the form of price increases or laying people off which leads to inflation.
@@amaris27 Agreed, but businesses consist of individuals - proprietors, employees, shareholders. If their margins get cut due to higher repayments, they will cut back on their life style, and even their planned investments which would have provided jobs. These jobs would have resulted in more spending and consumption.
Also, they will have to increase prices on their goods and services to offset the higher repayments, which will again cut consumption, like a self fulfilling prophecy. In the end things will cool down and prices will drop as there will be less demand.
I'm actually in the process of starting to repay the loans I used to go out to eat, and buy MacBooks for girls I dated. But the bank my salary gets deposited doesn't want me to repay credit card debt in another bank because of capital controls...
This video is the standard propaganda narrative they want people to swallow. Since there are so many variable interest rate loans out now, the banks really just want to jack up their profits. You can't reduce spending for people eating rice and beans and living in a tiny apartment.

This method of interest rate control only controls demand pull inflation, which is the most common type of inflation as it is caused by an excess of aggregate demand. If the inflation is caused by supply it is called cost push inflation, whilst the interest rate control will work on this type of inflation it will not be as effective as supply side polices like subsidies and privatization.
Right. Because whether it's demand-pull or supply-push, inflation is always demand exceeding supply. The difference is hiking interest rates can definitely slow the economy down to levels that match baseline supply, but it can't -- or shouldn't -- slow the economy down enough to match a supply shortage, because most demand is what is required to keep civilization as we know it functioning. Recessions are painful because for the economy to shrink, that means we're lowering our standards, taking less care of ourselves and investing less in our future. For the environmentally minded, this also means slowing the rate of decarbonisation.
@@xlynx9 Yeah that's why the government must be extremely careful with their policies, as because most economies are mixed any government actions has a large effect on the economy of the country. This is heightened even more in the case of the US as because it is one of the largest economies the economies of the world depend on its stability, that's why a protracted period of economic slow down in the US will negatively effect the world economy.
Agree. Raising interest rates does nothing to rectify container ships stuck in the Suez Canal, lockdowns in China restricting manufacture, wars preventing the export of grain, fertilizer and raw materials, fossil fuel companies failing to increase production back to pre-pandemic levels etc... Seems to me that the Central Banks are turning dials that are not connected up. This video does not provide an explanation that makes sense, nor does the narrative that the central banks are trying really hard to get inflation under control. And, at a time when the world needs to invest in transitioning to sustainable energy, raising interest rates seems to make even less sense.
My impression is that this inflation (and deflation in the past years) is tightly connected to energy costs and probably the play with interest rates is meaningless. Economy is not an exact science in spite of the self-praising of economists who in the end do not pay for their mistakes that happen quite often. In the end, I do not feel sorry when economists lose their jobs because in general they are the ones who immediately lay off other people.
@@eurotop40 Interesting view points but economists aren't the ones laying off people, they simply try and predict the market and the future. Which is an extremely difficult task, considering the large amount of variables that needs to be considered. This is why most economists will not be 100% accurate with their predictions, like all jobs economists can fail. Whilst yes their mistakes may lead to the loss of jobs of some, their predictions can also at times lead to massive economic growth and a surge in the economy which will help everyone. Economists also collect and analyze data of standards of living for the IMF and the world bank, by doing this economists essentially allows poor countries to have access to loans that could help improve everyone in said country. So in conclusion whilst yes the bad an economists can bring upon a country is great their contributions to society far outweighs that, economists are also now extremely careful before making any predictions so because they know their predictions can affect thousands or even millions of lives.
I'm glad I decided to pay off my student loans and minor credit card debt. I did buy a new car at a 0% interest rate, but I could pay that completely off right now. I will continue saving until it makes sense to spend my money on a bigger purchase. I was looking at buying a home, but it didn't pan out, even during the pandemic with low interest rates. So now that we're coming out with higher interest rates, it's definitely not my time. I'm beginning a new budgeting journey, and I'm hoping to save even more so that I can remain stable if things get rough. Let's hope things get better and soon.
Paying off debt in advance is the opposite of what you should be doing during periods of high inflation. Saving and investing more after a stock market fallout I agree with.
Great explanation! I've been trying to find the way to make sense about this whole situation and this video managed to do just that
I'm in Master alr and still struggling to fully understand this concept. The team did a really great visualization to explain this
Banks raise interest rates when inflation is too high. Rise in interest rate from central bank means that commercial bank will earn more on their reserves.
When interest rate rises, it will slow down investment and spending, that will lead to less economic activity and therefore businesses will be reluctant to raise prices and that will pull back inflation.
A slight inflation is okay, as it keeps the economy moving but inflation staying high for too long is problematic.
High prices means employees will need high wages and that will increase cost for businesses and push up price further and it will lead to an upward spiral of wages and prices.
Raising interest rates and slowing down the economy is worth it to get low and steady inflation.

When you invest you're buying a day you don't have to work
@Vera Jones You're right, it's obvious a lot of people remain poor due to ignorance
I'm looking for something to venture into on a short term basis, I have about $6k sitting in my savings
Obviously trading in bit coin is very volatile and risky to trade that's the reason most traders trade with a company
Now is the best time to purchase and invest in Bit coin stop procrastinating!
I advice everyone to start investing and never rely on just salary. No billionaire made it through salary
WELL EXPLAINED! THANK YOU!
This video is very informative and explains how higher interest rates can cause inflation in some scenarios. The main argument is that higher interest rates increase the demand for money, which leads to more money creation by the banks and the central bank. This in turn increases the money supply and the price level, resulting in inflation. The video also discusses how this process can be amplified by the feedback loop between inflation expectations and actual inflation.
I think this is a plausible theory, but I wonder how it applies to the current situation in the US, where interest rates are near zero and inflation is rising. Is it possible that higher interest rates would actually reduce inflation by discouraging excessive borrowing and spending, and by increasing the real return on savings? How would this affect the debt burden of the government and the private sector? These are some of the questions that I would like to see addressed in future videos. Thank you for sharing your insights and analysis. 👍
A work of art - very few sources explain clearly the interest rate link between central banks and commercial banks.
The US economy is grappling with uncertainties, global fluctuations, and pandemic aftermath, causing instability. Rising inflation, sluggish growth, and trade disruptions need urgent attention from all sectors to restore stability and stimulate growth.
Things are strange right now. The US dollar is becoming less valuable because of inflation, but it's getting stronger compared to other currencies and things like gold and property. People are turning to the dollar because they think it's safer. I'm worried about my retirement savings of about $420,000 losing value because of high inflation. Where else can we keep our money?
Stay in the mrkt and sell only if you need those funds. I got laid off and it has been difficult getting another source of income, glad I was investing when I did and of course with guidannce from a wealth-manager don’t listen to naysayers. I am making bank and the penalties for drawing from 401k to reinvest are nothing compared to the amount of wealth I now possess with my family.
Please can you leave the info of your investment advisor here? I’m in dire need for one.
I'm guided by Lisa Angelique Abel . An experienced coach with extensive financial market knowledge. While you can consider other options, her strategy has yielded positive results for me. She offers valuable insights, including entry and exit points for the securities I concentrate on.
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran a Google search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
We all know that prices of almost everything aren’t coming down. Simply put, they're rising less. Costs are rising due to rising inflation. As we are evidently at the verge of hyperinflation, with the less haves bearing the brunt of the burden. I'm more concerned that the rising inflation may lead my entire $990k retirement funds to lose value. Where else could we put our cash?
I would say the fin-market, but it is volatile at this time, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on any shares/ETF you focus on.
Investing in stocks can be a wise decision, especially if you have a dependable trading system that can lead to successful outcomes. Personally, I've been working with a financial advisor for about a year now. Starting with less than $200K and I'm now just $19,000 away from making half a million in profit.
Thats quite Impressive! can you share more info?
Carol Vivian Constable is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment..

Elegant, unbiased and balanced. Much better explanation than youtubers like Heresy Financials who is against central banking intervention to the extreme..
Thank you you’re Conte help me out so much I’m 20 years old. Getting to learn about inflation and interest rates early on
Beautifully put together
Not really. Very superficial. The interbank lending should have been the main topic. This was only for a broad public that has no prior knowledge of banking. The interbank rate, also known as the federal funds rate, is the interest charged on short-term loans made between financial institutions.
@@danielk.5890 I get your point ,but the main focus of the economist channel is to educate the broader public and raise awareness , isn't it ?
