personally the wickerman one is my favourite! it just sounds amazing and really fits with the theme park and the ride!! love this video it’s so cool to hear all of these together
I’ve just realised after listening to the IMAScore CD I’ve missed a section out of the fireworks 2015 soundtrack called ‘tension is rising’ 🤦🏻♂️ so yeah maybe I’ll have to remake this video dammit 😢😂
2 others I could think of are The Alton Towers Dungeon and Altonville Mine Tours which both have tiny snippets of In the Hall of the Mountain King hidden in their Soundtracks. Sorry, I'm a Scare Attraction Stan 😂
@@JamesWilliamColeman Funny you should say that as I was listening to the dungeons soundtrack a few days ago and realised 😅 I’ll add them to the list of what I need to add
@@CoasterAlt Great 👍 Btw, when I said Altonville I meant the Queue Line Soundtrack produced by Simon Allen, not The Most Beautiful Girl by Charlie Rich that plays in the maze itself. Don't believe that has In the Hall of the Mountain King in it 😂
Alton towers owned hall of the mountain king without even buying its rights, whenever I hear it all I can think of is loud laughing noises in a queue line and nemesis breaking down
Both of which haven’t been officially released as far as I’m aware. I featured the version used in marketing for The Curse at Alton Manor in the updated video however
Interesting to listen to, especially how the newer scores seem to have an over reliance on the melody. It's cute having it pop up here and there, but it feels like a lot of soundtracks now either force it in or are basically just a variation.
It is definitely interesting to hear them all together. I can see where you’re coming from there but the melody is a huge part of the branding for the park so of course it’s going to be widely replicated in the soundtracks. The newer Towers Street and heritage soundtracks by IMAScore however do overuse the melody slightly in my opinion
@@CoasterAlt If you listen back to things like the 2008 versions of Katanga, Towers Street, Monorail, Air etc. you can hear a different melody altogether which the park experimented with alongside Mountain King - possibly could've seen both alongside each other. One more for marketing, one more for the park?
@@237mo That’s a great point actually! From 2008-2015 there was a lot of variety in the soundtracks around the park but the newer ride soundtracks lack some originality
I don’t think CCL has in the hall of the mountain king incorporated into it. Could be wrong but all the versions I’ve listened to on RUclips (and countless amounts of eating in Burger Kitchen) I haven’t heard that part 🤔
I missed some soundtracks in this video but an updated version can be found here ruclips.net/video/0ni5GMijmJE/видео.html
the heritage theme really gives you that "its the middle of the day, get on more rides before closure" vibe
Exactly! Like why are you walking past the towers listening to this when you could be on Nemes… oh wait 😭
@@CoasterAlt maybe next year
@@CoasterAlt Why be walking past the towers when you could be looking into Nemmy’s construction site and going on galactica to see into there
@@bennickss good thing they haven’t brought back the VR to stop people seeing into the construction site 🤣

We all adore in the hall of the mountain king thanks to Alton Towers 😂 great video!!
It’s such a great piece of music! Fits the park so well too. Thanks for watching!
I love when they incorporate it into the ride themes. Wicker Man's theme is a hood classic.
It’s great how you hear it in so many soundtracks. Makes you remember where you are (if you somehow forgot lmao)

The entire soundtrack for wicker man is so atmospheric and I agree it’s probably my favourite too! Thanks for watching

There's also the Nemesis Subterra adverts ruclips.net/video/_3Dak9EBSC8/видео.html
@@AdamKitchen700 that’s from the advert though and I was focusing on the parks soundtracks. Unless if it was used in the queue line audio 🤔

Ive been looking for a video like this, thank you
Me too, went to AT a few months ago and had fun finding them, and was surprised I couldn't find anything on youtube covering it
Alton towers owned hall of the mountain king without even buying its rights, whenever I hear it all I can think of is loud laughing noises in a queue line and nemesis breaking down
They don't need to buy the right because it's classical music, so it's public domain. They do own the rights to their recordings tho.
I never realised that in the hall of the mountain King was apart of the smiler's soundtrack
The Smiler’s ITHOTMK reference fits the ride
This is fascinating!
I never knew there was so many parts in the soundtracks!
Thank you 😊
I think theres a part in The Curse At Alton Manor and in the Festival Of Thrills Soundtrack
Both of which haven’t been officially released as far as I’m aware. I featured the version used in marketing for The Curse at Alton Manor in the updated video however
the smiler gives me vibes of getting on mystic timbers at kings island....

11:46 - 12:05 that kinda sounds like the soundtrack of the Sonic Spinball ride!!!
Funny you should say that, it’s literally the same ride just without Sonic branding 🦔💨
Why are there 2 versions of the summer of fun one? where did you get the instrumental?
They’re both from the same soundtrack uploaded on Simon Allen’s channel

Don't forget Hex the Legend of the Towers Theme.
Does the Hex theme include hall of the mountain king? 🤔
The smiler one is the best
Galactica has a nice version, as does ScareFest...
Dinosaur Derby at Ughland.
Dammit! That means I’ll have to make a third version and no one will watch it fml 🤦🏻♂️
