Not to be the wet blanket, but I think those other places said no because it was extremely negligent and reckless of them. Basketballs raining down from above with no control in where they went and unsuspecting public down below. Did you see where that red car almost got demolished pulling out from underneath the covered entrance? How would you feel if you were on vacation, driving a rental car, have it get demolished by a random basketball, and ruining your trip.
What's really amazing is that they got permission from Las Vegas city council, highways, police & fire departments... Oh wait, they didn't ask them. because they obviously would have said no. An absolutley reckless disregard for public safety, they could very easily have killed somebody.
The U.S. is a shining beacon of democracy for it's citizens in many but not all respects, but it is an aggressive and self-serving bully toward all other nations, specifically non-wealthy nations.
The fact that the staffs of the strat hotel (stratosphere) gave all their best to close every spots including the route just to make the dp guys made the world record possible and the tyler made the shot with such effort. I really love those kind of things.
14 years. I've been watching this channel since middle school. I'm starting my senior year of college in a couple months. It makes me so happy to see that even after all these years, and so many changes in both the world and your channel, that you've still got it. Never stop pushing the limits.

You then teach us to work hard and never give up through a video like this. @@subodhsharma2903 that's because the shadow is out of frame, if you go frame by frame you can actually see the shadow a few frames before it hits the board, and also the ball is still very high up even right before it goes in but the focal length of the camera makes the ball appear much closer to the ground.

This whole video seems like something out of a movie. The dudes have an outrageous idea (like always lol) and everyone tells them they can't do it and that it's impossible. But despite the downers, and many no's from places saying they wouldn't let them do it, they go through with it anyway thanks to the Strat Hotel in Fabulous Las Vegas. With a tight deadline, and an impossible task, and hundreds of missed shots, the stress continues to mount. And when all hope seems to be lost, who else but Tim and his Miracle on Ice speech to fire up the boys, and when the moment finally wears off and it seems like nothing will come of the plan to break the record, at the last minute on the last day, Tyler's flight is delayed. And finally, the one and only ball to hit the basket, at the very last second, hits the net and goes in as Tyler screams, "WE did it!!" in celebration. Something out of a story book, its enough to give you chills. WELL DONE DUDE PERFECT!!
This video legit made me tear up with joy for the entire DP team. Beyond the five guys, the whole squad that put this together is exceptional. The dedication and work that goes into a production of this scale is something that gets overlooked - cheers to all the folks that made this happen.

I live in Las Vegas and when the wind picks up, it’s difficult to make a 3-pointer on a regulation court. How you guys managed to pull off this shot in the desert is beyond me. Truly spectacular!

Every time I feel low, I want to watch this video. As a long time DP fan, I can’t be anymore proud or inspired. That Tim speech might be out of randomness but that actually inspired. You make 1000 shots, 999 doesn’t go in, but that one shot. That changes everything.

This trick shot is a perfect example that shows the importance to never give up no matter what you face in your life. I live in Las Vegas and when the wind picks up, it’s difficult to make a 3-pointer on a regulation court. How you guys managed to pull off this shot in the desert is beyond me. Truly spectacular!

Mad respect to the whole Dude Perfect crew trying to make it work and not giving up despite all odds.
They were literally about to give up and then a miracle happened. They could have just as easily hit somebody with an errant shot. Did you watch the video?
People tell you can’t do it it’s impossible and you go out there to prove that anything is possible when you have confidence you have hope have faith & that’s what these guys did the whole DP team 🍾 hats off to them

Every time I feel low, I want to watch this video. As a long time DP fan, I can’t be anymore proud or inspired. That Tim speech might be out of randomness but that actually inspired. You make 1000 shots, 999 doesn’t go in, but that one shot. That changes everything.
I love how alive and enriching this video was, rather than just showing the trick shots it conveyed the struggles and stress, and what led up to that relief of making that shot! Best video ever. CONGRATS GUYS!

I love the fact that the previous world record holders encouraged these guys to break their record. This trick shot is a perfect example that shows the importance to never give up no matter what you face in your life. Personally i started watching DP at the age of 7 and now 7 whole years after you still bring back the same emotions. Thank you for all these years of pure joy amazing content and hilarious moments.
