I know this maybe kind of a downer but I've always felt like this was the weakest link of the album and rendezvous at sunset or whenever you feel like it should have been in its place.
Michelle Rubins Give It To Me is the weakest and Love Affair the second weakest in my opinion. I would replace them with Boy and Tightrope respectively (also would replace Dancefloor with Baby). That's the perfect Fever album for me.
i thought burning up was the second weakest, love affair is one of my faves. i think it shouldve been a single in place of come into my world. boy and tightrope replacing give it to me and burning up would be the perfect album for me
Interesting. Different strokes though I'm aware me not liking Love Affair is an unpopular opinion. For me the singles were perfect and in fact Burning Up would be my personal 5th single. It's a perfect closer for the album since every track ranges between low-key and chilled or high energy and fiery. Burning Up closes the album doing both extremes in one. Plus the title is thematically connected to the album title.
