My son was going into the 11th grade this year, I checked him out of school and he's getting his GED. He has a great job at a plumbing company learning a valuable trade. I'm really proud of him and have no regrets.

Growing up I was a big tomboy and was shaped like a 12 yr old boy until mid-highschool. I have always struggled with mental health issues and it scares me what they are doing targeting children because I know I would have been one.. &I know that I would have been able to be manipulated into thinking I needed to change my identity. I'm so glad these things weren't happening back then or I might not be the strong and proud 34 yr old WOMAN I am today.
Parents don't generally respond well to bad grades either, but we don't hide those. It sounds like a lot of these counselors wouldn't have jobs if they weren't creating patients.
My daughter was told similar. We had the worst 2 years of our lives to heal her and her confusion. A male teacher told her she was bi and a transgender because she was a bit tomboy. She is doing well now, as a homeschool high schooler with a boyfriend of a full year. She smiles happy again and loves to sing and dance again.

I know of a girl who had a estrogen blockers against parents wishes or knowledge at first. What if the child was unaware of an illness or something already wrong with them that should bat such a medication? How would the teachers know? Teachers are not my child's parent. I am. Im from South Africa. Before I became a teacher, I had a child. I believe that ppl who want to work with children or give opinions on children should first have their own. Book work is different to the real thing. I had a waitress once tell me, "remember to add cold water to the bottle". That annoyed me as I knew what to do, so i asked her if shes a mom. She said "no, im still at school" I replied. "finish school then have your own kids to comment"

Our school district had questionable books a few years ago in the high school. To the school boards credit, once a parent showed them the images and text they were immediately removed. They were pornographic. The book publishers and librarians are indeed activists and groups do give these books free to the school libraries.
Do whatever you can to keep your kids out of public schools. This is sick. I was a tomboy. No question they would have sterilized me and cut me up because I absolutely refused to wear pink or wear a dress. Guess what? It was because I was surrounded by people who valued boys. I wanted to be valued. I had creepy older men creeping on me and wanted to stop that from happening so I tried to look less like a girl. Kids, never, ever trust adults who want to push drugs on you or try to say you'd be happier without your body parts.
Same. I would have been encouraged to transition too. I have always been a tomboy. In my case, I had a testosterone producing tumor on my ovary for a couple years before it was discovered. The changes it made in my body from ages 15 or 16 to 18 when they found it would have just solidified in these people’s minds that I should be part of their club, and the cancer probably would not have been discovered. For anyone curious, it is called a Sertoli-Leydig cell tumor, and thank God it is very slow growing. But it is a malignancy and would have killed me if I just cut my hair short and rolled with it.
As a former elementary librarian, I was presented with books, by the principal, that I felt were inappropriate for kids. I knew I would be required to add the books to the stacks if I protested. I chose to leave them in the back rather than put them on the shelves. I decided to retire shortly thereafter because I was not willing to be a part of this. Don't assume that all librarians are in favor of this but rather may be protecting their jobs.
Kids of divorced parents are extremely vulnerable to this grooming. Parents have good intentions by splitting custody week to week but it’s so hard to stay connected especially if there is even a little bit of tension and let’s face it, good break ups are not the majority of the cases sadly 😢
This conversation gave me a new respect for Dr Phil. He directed conversation just enough to allow people to make concrete contributions to the logic of the debate without wandering off. I work in after school/summer childcare. I was a senior in 2023. In 2020 I lost most of my friend group when they found out I am a Christian. They were beyond hateful because I had told them it was gross behavior to call an American flag toilet paper. Those same girls were involved in/identified as trans or queer. Now at work there is a child that is called by a different name. She is emo. Sweet kid and an amazing artist. She is feminine too but she is 100% has been groomed into the woke cult. A younger child misgendered her by accident and the way the older kids verbally attacked the kid was wild. They pray on these kids. They pretend to be these gentle and safe people but turn on them the moment a kid even thinks to question them about any of their flawed logic. My own best friend fell into it when we were 13-18. She was in unsafe relationship and kept secrets from her parents as a result. Leave kids alone.

I disagree with the term "Book Ban." These books may not be allowed in schools but these same books can be seen at public libraries or bought online. If a parent wants their child to read these books are available through other sources. These books are not available in the library I work at. I order the books, and I will not have these books when I can't have Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. As they are actually banned books.
I'm a librarian and this is all absolutely true about the books in schools and libraries. We do not get to speak against such things because it's immediately seen as censorship and transphobic and homophobic. We aren't given a right to not purchase these books for the library. And the problem is that they conflate the book not being on the shelf that exact moment as censorship when legally we aren't allowed to stop somebody from checking something out. So we can order it but they claim censorship if it's not there right now at that moment.

My daughter went to private school most of her childhood in California. I put her in public school for 4 months after the pandemic and they targeted her. They would take her out if class for private sessions with the school counselor and per my daughter they would tell her to explore her sexuality. She began having severe panic attacks and the school would verbally attack her for trying to call me. 1 week before Christmas break my daughter told me she would harm herself if I made her go back. I took her out of school immediately and moved her to a red state with my parents and came along 3 months later as a single mom whose only help was my parents. My daughter didn’t bounce back immediately, and it actually got worse before it got better ( don’t necessarily trust therapists either) but she’s continually improving now. Protect your kids from Ca Schools.
Teach your kids at a very young age that when anyone, especially an adult, tells them to keep something from you it’s a red flag. That’s a warning to tell a trusted family member right away.

My son was going into the 11th grade this year, I checked him out of school and he's getting his GED. He has a great job at a plumbing company learning a valuable trade. I'm really proud of him and have no regrets.

Growing up I was a big tomboy and was shaped like a 12 yr old boy until mid-highschool. I have always struggled with mental health issues and it scares me what they are doing targeting children because I know I would have been one.. &I know that I would have been able to be manipulated into thinking I needed to change my identity. I'm so glad these things weren't happening back then or I might not be the strong and proud 34 yr old WOMAN I am today.

My daughter was told similar. We had the worst 2 years of our lives to heal her and her confusion. A male teacher told her she was bi and a transgender because she was a bit tomboy. She is doing well now, as a homeschool high schooler with a boyfriend of a full year. She smiles happy again and loves to sing and dance again.

I know of a girl who had a estrogen blockers against parents wishes or knowledge at first. What if the child was unaware of an illness or something already wrong with them that should bat such a medication? How would the teachers know? Teachers are not my child's parent. I am. I feel bad she had teachers tell her things in a health class that really confused her. I am so happy she is happy again, but I am not allowing public school get to her again. Im from South Africa. Before I became a teacher, I had a child. I believe that ppl who want to work with children or give opinions on children should first have their own. Book work is different to the real thing. I had a waitress once tell me, "remember to add cold water to the bottle". That annoyed me as I knew what to do, so i asked her if shes a mom. She said "no, im still at school" I replied. "finish school then have your own kids to comment"

Our school district had questionable books a few years ago in the high school. To the school boards credit, once a parent showed them the images and text they were immediately removed. They were pornographic. The book publishers and librarians are indeed activists and groups do give these books free to the school libraries.
Do whatever you can to keep your kids out of public schools. This is sick. I was a tomboy. No question they would have sterilized me and cut me up because I absolutely refused to wear pink or wear a dress. Guess what? It was because I was surrounded by people who valued boys. I wanted to be valued. I had creepy older men creeping on me and wanted to stop that from happening so I tried to look less like a girl. Kids, never, ever trust adults who want to push drugs on you or try to say you'd be happier without your body parts.

In my case, I had a testosterone producing tumor on my ovary for a couple years before it was discovered. The changes it made in my body from ages 15 or 16 to 18 when they found it would have just solidified in these people’s minds that I should be part of their club, and the cancer probably would not have been discovered.
For anyone curious, it is called a Sertoli-Leydig cell tumor, and thank God it is very slow growing. But it is a malignancy and would have killed me if I just cut my hair short and rolled with it.

As a former elementary librarian, I was presented with books, by the principal, that I felt were inappropriate for kids. I knew I would be required to add the books to the stacks if I protested. I chose to leave them in the back rather than put them on the shelves. I decided to retire shortly thereafter because I was not willing to be a part of this. Don't assume that all librarians are in favor of this but rather may be protecting their jobs.

I work in after school/summer childcare. I was a senior in 2023. In 2020 I lost most of my friend group when they found out I am a Christian. They were beyond hateful because I had told them it was gross behavior to call an American flag toilet paper. Those same girls were involved in/identified as trans or queer. Now at work there is a child that is called by a different name. She is emo. Sweet kid and an amazing artist. She is feminine too but she is 100% has been groomed into the woke cult. A younger child misgendered her by accident and the way the older kids verbally attacked the kid was wild. They pray on these kids. They pretend to be these gentle and safe people but turn on them the moment a kid even thinks to question them about any of their flawed logic. My own best friend fell into it when we were 13-18. She was in unsafe relationship and kept secrets from her parents as a result. Leave kids alone.

I remember as a child being sheepish about reading "The Care and Keeping of You" from the American Girl Store because it had small simple illustrations of how a girl's breast will develop through puberty and a simple illustration of how to insert a tampon. That said, I can flip that around to say: *this* is actual, proper representation of that side of things. *This* is how well-intentioned people, at their best, make the case for these injustices. If a parent wants their child to read these books are available through other sources. I'm a librarian and this is all absolutely true about the books in schools and libraries. We do not get to speak against such things because it's immediately seen as censorship and transphobic and homophobic. We aren't given a right to not purchase these books for the library.
And the problem is that they conflate the book not being on the shelf that exact moment as censorship when legally we aren't allowed to stop somebody from checking something out. So we can order it but they claim censorship if it's not there right now at that moment.

As a survivor of sexual abuse, it makes me ill that that woman defended those horrific books on adults sexually engaging with boys. How in the world can anyone write such a book WITH illustrations??? It's so mentally sick! Sadly, as a survivor of abuse , the images of what I experienced for 10 years of my life NEVER go away! I am 61 years old, and they still creep up by triggers. WHY would anyone think it's okay for a child or youth to have access to such descriptive materials? I personally struggle at times when a flashback happens. But I have learned how to replace those awful memories with something else. It took years to learn that. So outlaw those books from school libraries!! My daughter went to private school most of her childhood in California. I put her in public school for 4 months after the pandemic and they targeted her. They would take her out if class for private sessions with the school counselor and per my daughter they would tell her to explore her sexuality. She began having severe panic attacks and the school would verbally attack her for trying to call me. 1 week before Christmas break my daughter told me she would harm herself if I made her go back. I took her out of school immediately and moved her to a red state with my parents and came along 3 months later as a single mom whose only help was my parents. My daughter didn’t bounce back immediately, and it actually got worse before it got better ( don’t necessarily trust therapists either) but she’s continually improving now. Protect your kids from Ca Schools.

A girl who is happy being girly with pretty hair and dresses one year IS NOT a boy the next year. That's just ludicrous. Telling a kid they can't tell their parents puts even MORE stress on them.

It's happening in the CPS system! I am battling the system trying to fight for 2 very small children. It's horrible! It needs to STOP! I CAN'T STAND WANT WOKE HAS DONE!
🙏 CPS is corrupt out and out! Done not been there and so is the Justice Department! When they put you through parenting classes to get your child back for your child's actions but yet don't send your child home to you but instead puts her in foster care so they can get more money... Yeah it's all around corruption! But yet children that come from drug addicts homes are put back into the homes. No Justice in that! But they know that the child will have a screwed up life and will rely on government assistance.

@@Lana-xi8mc It's not even about being woke. These people are demonic! Dealt with that with my oldest child. She ended up in foster care because I asked for help!!! Couldn't handle it anymore! I needed help more than what I was getting with the counseling that she was going in! The heart of these people are evil! Never mind watching that if you had children and you were addicts you were handed your children right back! And then they break you down if you're trying to do the best that you can and you're either disabled and trying to be a really good parent! I will pray for you Lana!
