Inessential rap interlude by MC Frontalot ( frontalot.com )
2021 and I just discovered this magical teamup. I love it!
It’s great singing the two girl backup singers look like stunned when the whole crowd started singing. Some people don’t realize how iconic this song was for 80s-90s kids lol.
Front looks like he's having so much fun on that stage =P
He had me dying with the whole "Fantasy" bit
The rap interlude was essential.
Best version of this song
ever!!!!!!!
roundabout at the beginning? lol
This is fantastic footage from Antony at indywoodFILMS, shot for the forthcoming WHEATUS documentary. I was lucky enough to be at this gig and I was amazed how good they were. Brilliant set, I loved the energy and fun they had performing. Great to hear this classic anthem performed with mc frontalot.
Polish it, record it, and reap untold fortunes.
This song gives me chills
This just makes me smile. :)
Nah, this song can't be that old... because I can't be that old.
Awesome clip. Frontalot added to it nicely.
How you feel about that now
I'm listening to this in 2023 and it's so friggin' dope.
The crowd is completely silent because they want to take it in. So good.
That was Epic!
12 years later and this is still my favorite Frontalot video
this is so fun! One of my favorite songs growing up.
This video is, an amazing and unique thing in the universe!
this is amazing
So wishing I could have been at that show! Awesome! :D
This is completely awesome! :D
I live in London Islington! How did I miss this!? ;(
I really wish I could have gone to see this live. If MC Frontalot ever returns to Blighty, I'll make sure to be there.
Incredible how perfectly this captures the vibe of the late 2000s despite being a song from a previous era
it went only downhill after 2009
@lostintechnology1851 some things yes some no but ill always fondly remember the times like these when we were all a bit more carefree
this is awesome!
Aw he's had that guitar for years :')
I saw them last night in Dublin, it was pretty awesome
Grats on climbing the charts again Brendan! I think a remix of the song with MC Frontalot would be a good thing.
Is there any way to get an official version of this track? I adore Wheatus and Front.
ive been in a lot of bands and been a musician since i was a kid, but let me say the biggest form of flattery for most ppl like me who write songs and play, is when the crowd sings your lyrics
AWESOME!
love putting some YES in there... lol one of my all time favorite bands.
They're playing a UK Tour with Frontalot this year in May!
Very nifty, great job Front!
all i'm going to say is MC frontalot can add to any song and make it better even if the song is great to start with
ROUNDABOUT!!
I was never really of fan of this song, But this performance is awesome!
Man, decades of guilty pleasures overlapping... It feels sooo wrong and sooooo right.
@TheKEaton76 Aw, thanks for saying so honey. Im in this too (briefly!) Nice to see where my shots match up with parts of the video. Brilliant gig ;-D
I remember Wheatus played at the height of their fame at the K-rockathon.
Nobody cared, everyone went to look at the merch booths.
I felt the same when this song came on today. It's bit terrible, but I'd rather do anything else. Even leaving a RUclips comment for nobody, in silence.
ALL OF MY YES!
Steve Hackett opener at the start. Frontalot in the middle. Awesome all the way through.
How messed up is the fact that I found Wheatus through Frontalot lol Jean Grae and Brad Sucks too, his collabs actually turned me on to some really dope stuff (in addition to him lol)
fuck yeah MC Front!!!
i just wanna see a mc chris and mc frontalot collab
I have just set up a dedicated twitter account for the WHEATUS feature length documentary: @WHEATUSdoc here you will be able to follow the progress... this clip was filmed for the documentary... AD LANE
Very good sir. Is it the lens on your cmera that brings out the picture clarity? Mine is still hazy, I thought it was the noise/heat.
That kicked ass, I say MCF should join the band permanently.
For anyone that likes MC Lars, wheatus did a version of this song with him in 07. The video ID thing(last part of the URL) is 4FEdbFEs4uw (youtube blocks URLs)
@cheesyfudge i know. i like brendan with his bro pete and the comedy-conga drum-apple and bannana dude philip and the man who jumps hysterically with the bass mike. they should keep the same line-up since 2001. no girls just them
And I missed this in Liverpool. First world problems.
@AirdrieUnitedDaft if you remember them, then surely thats a contradiction, they must STILL be famous, the only difference is now they are fully independent & fighting the good fight to keep their legacy alive... after getting to know the band I can tell you that they are more ALIVE now than when they had SONY keeping them down... my documentary will show you how dedicated Brendan is to his music & his fans & the daily fight to keep his band ALIVE... AD LANE,
Like chocolate and peanut butter, man. That is one tasty combination.
@cymonsgames Actually he can if you watched nerdcore rising he freestyled for a radio
Where can I get an MP3 of this?
I don't think he can Save every song.... any song sang by that one Direction
For the longest time I thought the singer was a chick. I thought this entire time it was a girl singing about being in love with another girl. Hopes dashed against the shores of youtube island. Damn you youtube island. Damn you.
mc chris* WarRock*
And Lars is sick as fuck, you don't know what you're talking about, bro.
When he had hair
Don't be a hater just because you flunked highschool...
love Hackett but that's Howe
fixed
Hes losing his old voice :(
I did so bad lol
Lars is even better!
It's sad that the only original bandmember is the singer himself. I remember dancing to this song when I was 6.
You danced to this song at six years of age?! I only discovered this song a few months ago!
