Your videos are getting good!!!!! Fun to watch you carve. 2 questions; how fast are you usually riding and are you listening to music? Keep these sick videos coming.
@@tonydail5635 I learned to surf in Maui when I was 9. It will always be a special place for me. My son wants to go hiking on a different island for our next trip to Hawaii but I'll definitely drop you a line the next time I've got a trip planned to Maui.
Around 5:17 is that an example of the Lift board "detecting a crash" and powering off or did something else cause the drop? These the falls that have scared me in the past as you don't have to time to bail properly and I'm not sure I always let go of the trigger in these cases as you really have no warning or indication before it happens.
That was the standard, "loss of power for absolutely no good reason," issue that every Lift board I've ever owned has been guilty of doing at strangely random times. I can go 5 rides with no issue and then have three power-loss issues in one ride. At least when it happens my board stops immediately so you can see that when I come to the surface holding my controller and my camera (not really able to do much to cover my face since my hands are so full) my board is a good 20 feet behind me. I was probably doing 25+ since I was in the middle of a carve when this happened. This is why I recommend fixed prop on all flat/freshwater builds and only using folding/gliding props specifically for unpowered wave riding, and even then I recommend a foilboard over an efoil because it is just a better experience.
I had this happen yesterday. My board just powered off for no reason at all. Makes me very apprehensive about ever riding around on anything above 10 for extended periods
Mine has not done the sudden shut down thing for over a year. i thought i hit a log the the first time happened. just get back on your board and carry on. last year it happened several times, this year not at all.
So are you back to the 100 surf?? I ride the 160 CP but I’m about to buy the 100 surf. I need even more carves Edit: update, just bought the 100 surf. Gotta chase that next level
Whenever I get a new wing I gotta test it with all my combos to see what interesting things happen. The 32 Glide is my newest and I really like the 100 Surf V2 / 32 Glide. It's wicked fast and zippy.
like your taste in tunes:) ...and your ride
Thanks. I was looking for a good buddy surf song but the riding that day was just so aggressive, it called for a NIN B-side.

Thanks… I'm usually cruising in the mid 20s mph. Yes, I'm almost always jamming the tunes when I ride.
@@VerdantRide What kind of headphones? Also, reach out when you come to Maui, we'll take you on some coast runs!!!!

@@VerdantRide i need to try one of the carve wings. They seem to fly under the radar. I don’t hear anyone mention them
