Wings swept forward = instant pitch .... In trailmakers anyway. I use to make planes with wings that can be swept back in flight or swept forward and i noticed forwards = instant pitch and low speed, backwards = hardly any pitch but insane speed.... So when using a plane with swept wings in a dogfight you can press a button to make it fast or a button to make it extremely manoeuvrable. This makes a plane have the ability to adjust its temperament during a dogfight
The forward swept wing plane you're thinking about is the SU-47 Berkut, when you mentioned forward swept wings at first I thought Grumman X-29. Also your plane looks like something from star fox.
I think using the thrust vectering was the biggest problem since everytime you would use it you would spin and come to a almost stand still while being over corrected angle which intern meant you were not aimed at Scrapman .
Your spacecraft design somehow reminds me of the F-Zero games ... played F-zero GP Legends on GameBoy Advance (wow ... feel old now) and your spacecraft looks exactly like the vehicle "Blue Falcon" of Captain Falcon (not a very creative name, but whatever) ... at least without the wings
Biggest issue here is Yzuei just kept sitting still and just turning. Scrapman was on the move the entire time. But Yzuei wasn't moving so he was an easy target. Thats why Scrapman won so much.
The main problem was, that Yuzei is way to slow. Scrapman is so fast, so that Yuzei can't even come this his back, so he lost. Dogfight is all about to get behind your target and to so, you've to be faster then your opponent and as agile as able, so your opponent can't roll around you, but it's not absolutely needed.
@@cactus_cuber1589 If you're thinking of Flyby Wire that's not at all how it works, it has computers that take control of the flaps to keep the plane straight, and you could do that in Trailmakers, but no real gyros on jets.
I'd hate gyros too if the control surfaces we have in game weren't so bad. On complex plane builds. You really have to put in a lot of effort to make ailerons, elevators and rudders look good and at that point, you might aswell use a gyro.
how about a 2v2 but it's really 1v1, let me explain: fusion vehicle, each team mate make a part of the vehicle with a small limit of building part. then fuse part, battle, put more part on vehicle to strengthening and battle again
I think you would’ve fought better if you’d just used more engines instead of boosters. Your low cruising(?) speed & thrust made you an easy target. The thrust vectoring was a great idea tho!
The only engines he could’ve used with 4 power cores would be too large or function worse in the low atmosphere, but I do think I higher cruising speed would be better.

I think gyro damping should be allowed, where you just remove the key bind from a gyro. Because that exists in real life
