I loved my Penn State experience, 1984-1988. I'll never forget walking 🚶♂️ those "miles of sidewalks" to and from class each day. The campus grounds are just as meticulous now as they were back then.
Me too! York campus from 1982-1984, then University Park for entirely TOO long (I didn't want to leave). Went back in 2019 through World Campus for a Masters Degree. University Park was fun, but challenging, especially in cold nasty winter weather.
Thanks for sharing this amazing video. My son is set to attend Penn this fall in CS engineering. Lovely campus and wonderful to see the vast green swathes and beautifully designed buildings.
@MuhammadHammadBashir-wt2pf Penn State didn't work out for me. Too expensive and their summer program didn't help either. Their financial aid office is very messy and Inconsistent. Only go there if you're in state student. Currently I'm attending Oregon State due to the school offering great programs and it's cheaper.
@@BiG-JuPO1O1 I am actually applying for the CSE PhD program. Thank you for sharing the info. Now, I am a bit worried since I was planning to join this institute 😅
I'm going to be in Penn State coming fall and as an international student this walking tour helped me so much in a lot of ways! May I just know, I'm a huge camera fan, what camera and lens you are using?
Hey Justin-we're so glad you found this tour helpful! Congrats on going to Penn State, it's a beautiful college, as is the whole surrounding area. I used a GoPro Hero 8 to film this. Best wishes in your endeavors from City Wander! 💙
@@Katie-rr5tw I also came from the British curriculum and if you took GCE A-Level then those are accepted as credits in the states. Just use the common app and fill out the form with personal essays! If you have questions on us uni admissions you can ask me on ig @1eejaehyeok . Happy to help you!
Certain places look odd with all the trees gone. I'll be gone by the time those new ones get huge. Thank you for this video. I need to go back and check out my home away from home.
Ah starting off with my favorite place The Saloon, it is like a walk down memories past except the people wearing masks, I wish I could go back 15+ years to enjoy those times again :P
Here is a link to my planned walk. Once I get on the ground, I don't always follow it exactly and sometimes I make cuts/splices in editing. This should give you a pretty good idea though, and I believe on this video it follows the map pretty closely. I've gone to Penn State twice. Once in 1970's and a second time in the 1990's. You can't go wrong attending Penn State.
A man of experience! Thanks for watching Keith. 👍
Wow ..really , I am happy to know this. I will most likely join this university for my research.

Do you have a Summer version? Maybe with the Arts Fest.
Hi there. No, unfortunately we do not have a summer version yet. At some point we would like to, though. 🙂
The red and white brick buildingstyle are very similar to the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
The video sound is pretty good, beyond my imagination
Thanks! Sounds like a winner to us 😁. Appreciate you watching! 👍😊💙

nice walk 💖

No, unfortunately I haven't. Is it good? 💙

Would it be possible to attach the route on Google map? Which is more feasible to alien like me.
