    Thankyou for being willing to highlight the issues with the current, culturally accepted yet massively dis-integrated and devastating healthcare system. It's amazing to hear you were able to utilise and implement the systems thinking methodology to find clarity and understanding in an area, past where the standard healthcare system has seemingly capped out. And thankyou for sharing this with us. You have the absolute abilty to make masssive changes in a much needed domain so please do pursue this, it has potential to be lifesaving.

    • @augustbradley
      @augustbradley  10 месяцев назад +1

      That is so true. The general health care practice in the United States at least is just disastrous. We definitely need to find ways to do better, but certainly enhancing our personal systems can be applied very effectively in this realm. So I hope to share at least those insights and those approaches with as many people as I can. Thank you so much for your support. We're on the same page.

    Conscious breathing, pranayama, has been my go-to practice for preparing my nervous system for deeper transcendental experiences in meditation for close to forty years.
    Now, I am also incorporating a focus on the rise and fall of my breath whenever I have a minute or two through the day and don’t quite have the time for a longer session.
    This helps me settle my mind with my eyes open and is super effective in calming my thought process, which, in turn, relaxes my physiology.
    I’m glad to hear that conscious breathing is having such a
    positive effect on you and your daily activities.

    • @augustbradley
      @augustbradley  10 месяцев назад

      Thanks, Eric! I really appreciate the feedback. I'm not familiar with pranayama in particular, although I'm definitely interested in learning more about it. I've experimented with various techniques and discovered what works for me - always looking to learn more, so I'd love to hear if you have any resources or teachers you recommend.
      One practice that I do is similar to what you're describing - it's a form of vipassana meditation that focuses on the breath. I incorporate this into my daily routine and find it incredibly powerful. I think it would be great to keep sharing our experiences and knowledge as we continue on this journey. There's always so much to learn!

    I struggled for years with depression, anxiety, and addiction. I was also told so many random seeming things by doctors and experts. Each time I didn't get better, I spent more money and time with another layer of experts. Eventually I decided to take an at home sleep test and it showed I have severe sleep apnea. Not a single doctor or expert thought to test this despite it being so common. My life isn't perfect but it was this MAJOR missing puzzle piece and now that I treat it, my desire to use drugs and to need meds is gone. I know the experience of feeling lost with your medical options and am glad you are feeling better August.

    • @augustbradley
      @augustbradley  10 месяцев назад

      I totally hear you on the struggle. We really do have to take matters into our own hands with our health and become at the very least a partner if not a leader in the process. I'm really happy you found the solution - and that is truly a common one. Sleep apnea is a big deal, and something that needs to be higher up on the radar of more people. Sleep is just so foundational to every aspect of our health. So I'm happy to hear you found the solution. And I can completely relate to the process you went through. Let's learn and explore together!

    I was so glad to see your post. I have not searched out your content in a long time, but just today decided I was going to tune up my Notion platform I created based on your teachings. To see that you posted this 4 days ago, and not for a year before that, makes me think my ears were ringing. I use Notion regularly, but not to it's full potential, and have let it get cluttered and somewhat unorganized with sloppy usage. It is always, though, in the background reminding me of my projects, goals and life dreams. I am excited to tune it up. Thank you for your contribution to that, by the way. Your unique ability to combine the holistic/intuitive with the more concrete ways to put those holistic ideas down into an organized system is second to none, at least for me. I struggle so much with organization and motivation to do the tasks needed to reach my goals, so having such a system to rely on is amazing. I am so sorry that you have been dealing with health issues, but as the true truth seeker that you are, you figured out creative solutions. I am inspired by you, and am excited to hear what you have for us next, and for yourself.

    Wow! As I watched this video I resonated so deeply with so many of the points you brought up. After I purchased the PPV system and dove into setting it up, I also hit a wall health wise and went on my own, much needed health and wellness journey. I think it's so much more common than is talked about, this phenomenon of nervous system disregulation (and symptoms like autoimmune issues, chronic fatigue etc) among multi-passionate, highly ambitious people who are on a mission. And you sharing this today and committing to these new goals publicly is huge. This is so great, August! Can't wait to see what you've created and to do what I can to help share this with the world.

      Great to hear from you, Delfina! Thank you so much for reaching out and sharing your thoughts. It's clear that we are on the same page and share a deep interest for these topics. There is definitely a lot to learn, discover, and discuss in these areas.
      I'll do my best to contribute to the conversation, but I would also love to hear your perspective and insights. It would be fantastic if others in the community could join in as well, making it a rich and multidimensional discussion. Onward!

    Following with interest. I do a lot of personal research and work around longevity, and it can become pretty involved, complex and challenging to track and test. Getting some insight into how you are doing that will be interesting.

    Hey august ! Did you heard about shambavi mahamudra by sadghuru? It’s a yoga practice to reset the nervous system mixing streaching and breathing.
    Thank for sharing your new vision !!! Can’t wait to see what’s next 🙏
