Loving this video! I can’t believe how strong you are! I was thinking about when you chopped the big pieces of wood for the fire that maybe you could try a different way to save your energy. I watch another RUclipsr called King Kong Amazon and he takes 2 long fat pieces of wood and puts them on either side of the fire with the ends in the actual fire. Then as they start to burn from that one end and gets used up he then keeps pushing them in further into the fire. Hahaha I don’t know if my explanation actually makes sense but if you ever watch one of his videos you’ll know what I’m saying. I think that would just make it easier to have 2 long pieces and not have to chop them. Anyway I still love watching all of your videos. It’s like watching a real life Viking! 🥰

I did not know where I wanted to make shelter while stepping ashore. I had nothing planned and just saw the driftwood laying around. First I wanted to go to the forest. But this was better.

Love your content. Just one thing though, why bare feet? Seems like an incredibly dangerous risk. Step on one sharp object and you could be in serious trouble out there...
I have never stepped on glass shards (the only danger out there) in my entire life. Walked barefoot everywhere on summers since a child. There is a risk, but to me it seems irrelevant.

Salt water. It's the Baltic Sea. I have no specific suggestions for gear. Just keep it simple and functional. Don't get a too small ferro rod 👍

What hatchet do you use? That thing looks crazy sharp!!
Norweigan "Oyo" brand. Sharp because I sharpened it! I just use a simple diamond file and have reshaped the edge for better cutting.
