    Hi Phil thanks for another great vlog👍🏻 Really looking forward to see your full review on this👍🏻 But my only concern for using this in the caravan would be, would it create dampness in the caravan? As it's unlike a normal fan which uses the air in the van to circulate you are adding water and or ice cubes which creates moisture in the air, yes arguably it makes it cooler, but it also creates moisture which has to go somewhere so therefore would it create dampness in your caravan and go into your furniture, walls, and floor as it the moisture in the air has to go somewhere. So this is an interesting one to see how you find it👍🏻What's your thoughts on the moisture creating dampness? Thanks Emyr + Karen.👍🏻

      Hi Emyr. Thats a good question. We will only be using it during the hot periods so I guess that any moisture would dry up quickly but we will have to wait and see. This will form part of the test. Thanks Phil🙂👍

    Hi Phil. Very interesting vlog, as ever, and what looks as if it could be a useful bit of kit. Will be keen to see how you think it performs once you both get the chance to try it out. Could be an alternative to heavy and hugely expensive air-con as summers get warmer. Thanks again. Hope everything else is going well. Take care. George and Trish.

    Whilst I appreciate you and others take the time to make or profit from these videos with kit sent to you. I'd honestly say this video is pointless unless it's been used in conditions it was intended for. Yes what's in the box is relevant, but honest working review is why ppl search RUclips for kit and potentially buy. I don't wish to annoy you in any way its an honest comment pointing out that some reviews are best kept until the item is used. Far too many reviews on amazon of kit, just arrived etc, but no substance!
    In any event I hope it works for you. I've a motorhome and carry a hisense air con, can only use on 240 shore. I'm more free camping now and would wish to see items such as this is proved to work. Cheers

    • @lostweekendscaravan
      @lostweekendscaravan  2 года назад

      Hi Paul. The idea behind this video was to show the item as it stands and a basic overview as Folk had seen it at the CAMC Show and wanted to know like you does it work? Rather than include this in a long drawn out video it was decided to split the video in to two parts. Also we have to wait for the correct time (weather) to test and find the money to go away with it. There's no free lunch on this channel and money made is put back into the channel to pay for other videos such as 'Fixes or How Too's'. We have also bought a cheaper one so we can compare the 2 (this was at the channels expense). We have NOT been paid by the Company to review this (I Wish) so my thoughts and findings are my own. We hope to have the 2nd video out in Mid June. I hope this explains why it was recorded this way.
      Many Thanks Phil.

      @@lostweekendscaravan Phil thanks for the reply. I do appreciate you doing these vids, it takes time and effort. I'm not a youtuber yet, but considering it. I will await your update on its suitability. I'm interested in the zero breeze 2. It's expensive but having sat in ours in Spain for weeks, the money maybe worth it. As yet I've not seen a convincing vid to buy it yet. So the transcool may lbe a cheaper alternative in the long run, but I will await your vid first. Cheers and I wish you well and maybe in time your vids will attract sellers for the good stuff out there. Jackery and ecoflow appear to be generous these days and maybe they could send you some devices to review. Cheers again

      Hi Paul. Thanks for your kind words. We set up the Channel so that it would pay for itself. To be honest I am thinking of not reviewing products as much anymore as they are a pain to make and the return for the channel is little as most videos have to be shot on location which costs us money. If you do decide to try recording vlogs there is a lot more to it than you think. Some of the bigger channels get paid for what they put out but don't always disclose this which; in my book is dishonest and wrong. Hell the zero breeze is very expensive. This is not an air con unit. Early tests are positive for trans-cool. Thanks Phil👍

    Damp and mould not good if you have spent £30000 plus or less on a caravan so if you put 4 pints in cooler that`s 4 pints into your caravan.

      @@lostweekendscaravan HI i have watched to the end and i went to the caravan show £275 is a lot of money to pump water into the caravan like i said it uses water to cool the air and this will be pumped into the caravan with the cold air, The only true way is to get an aircon unit witch i have in mine and in summer works great it also removes moisture from the caravan not that mine has any issues with leaks.

      @lostweekendscaravan  2 года назад +1

      Hi Allan. I am guessing you didn't read the description comment. I have NOT been paid for this video in fact I have never been paid to review a Product. I have to put paid promotion on the video as part of RUclips's Rules. I hope this clears the matter up. I have to say I will not be Product Reviewing on the Channel as of June as they are more hard work than they are worth doing. I try to show Folk items that they may have not considered. Thanks Phil.🙂

      @@lostweekendscaravan hi Phil, yes I did hear that and as you say the banner does state "includes paid promotion" you also say that you was sent the unit to review and that its intended to be a long term review. But from that comment it seems to me that you have been given the unit to keep so long as you carryout a review. So payment by gift, rather paid £££ to promote.
      I'm not trying to be difficult and I enjoy your vloggs and will continue to watch.

    • @lostweekendscaravan
      @lostweekendscaravan  2 года назад

      No I understand your thoughts. This will be long term test/review. Yes it was sent FOC they have no say in what I have to say. We have had items in the past from large Companies that have never made it to video. Some where rubbish and were prototypes that we tested in Private. When we set up the Channel we reviewed items we bought and we reached a point when it was costing too much to continue. We only review items if we feel are worth while. The Channel has to pay for itself that way we can pay for the videos that are for example a Fix It or How To film. Other Channels are paid good money to review products that they keep and they do not disclose this. We are if nothing else we are honest and up front with what we do. I am glad you like our videos. Products will stop by June as it takes up too much time and my own money if reviewed on location.
