we have many players of czech league, and several of KHL but our team missing 25 players of NHL , we have very young team 10 players play on WCH first... we have good team becouse these young players very fighting for this chance play for czech.... i thing only three players we have of NHL, and between NHL and KHL is too much differents... KHL cant confront with NHL

A slyšel jak řve Gólll!!!! 😁Tento zápas jsem sledovala tenkrát v Chorvatsku v Šibeniku na němckém programu, to bylo něco. / This is the first time I've seen this in another language. And it's great to hear the commentator support of Czech hockey players. And he heard Gólll yelling !!!! - I watched this match at the time in Croatia in Šibenik on the German program, it was something. 😁Thanx for this video.

I don't understand him anything (except names), but it's great to listen to him. Suomi (Finnish?) is a beautiful, interesting language and the commentator is also perfect for listening :) I wish I understood him.

You said that Finns have beaten Russia more than Russia have beaten Finns in the hockey history since -92, Russians have more wins overall. The Soviet records are actually counted to Russias record so your argument is kind of invalid.
Anyway..
Russia [+IVY -92] has Gold medal from Albertville, Silver from Nagano and Bronze from salt lake city, also 3 WC's
Finland has Silver from Torino and Bronze Lillehammer+Vancouver and 1 WC.
Which one is better team overall? Russia.

I don't know who's been scoring lucky and overtime goals the past 4 years and receiving numerous posts, the year before this 6 fucking posts from us, then scoring a half assed goal when our goalie didn't see because of a random player skating by...so I'd shut up if I were you. We had a lucky run, so congratulate us like every normal person and don't insult.
1) to all the russian haters out there.. this game is about GOALS.. if your team, filled with NHL superstars cant score a single goal (6 on 3 pp does not really count) against a team of players from czech league, you dont deserve to win..
2) its strange that almost no russian stars play for Stanley cup now, couldnt win at Olympics, and were defeated at IHWC too.. learn to win.. and learn to behave.. internet is not Mongolia..
@Liverpool1337 i also can't believe how could czech win the gold game. but i don't mind it#s just a game. what i wanted to say was that i thought that the final game would be against russia and sweden. it would be a way better game than the actual gold medal game was. second reason was that i watched the game live in arena and i wanted to learn some swedish girl fans

They all play in KHL and earn twice more money than in NHL. Khl is very rich because it's controlled by Gazprom, an oil supplier , that holds a half of Europe. But still Russia is cool. But i havent noticed Finland, i guess you´re doing the same as we do in youngs. On the other hand, in men hockey we´re doing much better then Finland over the century. So what :)

3x Gold is better than 6x Silver, isnt it? Teams are remembered from 1st positions, not 2nd. And i think that IVY Gold medal counts to russias record too from Albertville, im not sure though. But it is really kind of nonsense to talk about 1992-2010 period, when all that matters is the whole history, because in this case CCCP records are counted into Russias record. Again correct me if im wrong.
But better team overall still is Russia, you cannot get past that when you think about it.

@Defelater did you see the U20 hockey tournament? Czechs and slovaks both in relegation. But yeah slovakia is even worse than czechs. What i meant, was that you obviously have better juniors compared to germany or latvia, but if you look it from the big 7 perspective. Anyways sorry if i insulted your country or anything but that's just my opinion. and finland was in deep shit too quite a while now, but it seems that it's a thing in the past now.

please tell me why he's so excited about czechs, If I understood him I would think of he's very hard fan of czechs :) but this match was after czechs beated finland so I'd expect him being supportive for swedish...
@alesio1971 KHL has future. A half of your Czech national team plays in KHL. This league includes teams from 5 countries and still new countries to be included. Huge competition, 25 teams, and lots of famous excellent players from many countries like Jagr or that guy Rachunek who saved your team in this game. KHL is much better than any hockey league in Europe.
@Sephirot1994 It's true (U20), but the Czechs win without good players. I do not know how this is possible, but it's true. Half of this team, I didn´t know before the championship..."Hubacek, Kaspar, Mojzis, Kvapil, Koukal, Vampola" ...Who are these guys? Czechs simply can win without stars. ;-) Finland has a fantastic player, but what if they do not win?
since year 1993 when Czechs split up with Slovakia... Czechs wins 7 gold medals at World Championships from these medals was 3years. year by year 1999,2000,2001 Gold Hattrick!!! WoW. Then 1 silver medal and 3 bronz medals. so in last 17 years Czech win 10 medals at WCH...by the way they also win Oympic Gold in 1998 and bronze in 2006!!!I just want to say Czechs are very good
IIHF World Championships - a low-grade tournament with the best players always absent. Only the Canada Cup and the Olympics matter.
