Andrea Carrie "Annie" Drews (born December 25, 1993) is an American volleyball player who plays Opposite for the United States women's national volleyball team. She has played professional club volleyball in Puerto Rico, Italy, and Turkey. Drews was elected as the Most Valuable Player of the 2019 FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League in Nanjing, China, where USA won the gold medal and the Best Opposite of the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup as part of the silver medal squad. She currently plays for Japan V.League Division 1 (V1) team JT Marvelous in the 2019-2020 season.
Tijana Bošković (Serbian Cyrillic: Тијана Бошковић; born 8 March 1997) is a Serbian volleyball player for the Serbia women's national volleyball team. She was the leading scorer for the Serbia women's national volleyball team in her debut in the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship, and 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship. Her current club is Eczacıbaşı VitrA

theyre both amazing players, but they have such different styles... drews is faster and hits a quicker ball, whereas boskovic hits harder but slower/high ceiling balls... I love them both 😍

Like if u agree. Both amazing athletes.
I think they are both great, effective and athletic. They're very different though, Drews is more of a 'closer to the net' spiker, while Boskovic spikes much further from the net. Boskovic seems less strong physically, but her spikes are way faster than Drews! Overall great, but my favourite is Boskovic.

I like Drew better not only because of her fast and powerful swing, but also for her improvement in last two years: more efficient hitting the target. She is so athletic and energetic! Smart and enthusiastic too.

Boskovic goes higher while drews goes faster. In terms of killer instinct, Boskovic is better. But in power, theyre almost equal
Annie Drews, but I'm a fan of both of them. Annie Drews hits and approached the ball quicker, she is like wilavan of thailand and Boskovic is like Onuma of thailand, they need a higher set to hit that ball and their armswing are the deadliest.

As an American. I am in love, with Annie Drews ; her L-hand power spikes, are awesome. THAT said, Boskovic may well be THE # 1 player in the world ; so, in all fairness, I have to give it to Tijana Boskovic ; but it's a close call. Both women are what makes women's V-Ball so exciting, & I wish them only the very best. ---------------------MJL, 74 y/o

Boscovic all the way! I'm a new fan of Drews. She has vastly improved leaving behind Karsta Lowe and I love her form!
However in this battle, it is evident that Drews is enjoying the benefit of a good system. Her attacks are from excellent sets as compared to Boscovic who has been killing all those trashy plays wherever she is on the court. Misreceived? Can't make a good play? Just send the ball way up in the air, somewhere Boscovic is gonna kill that ball. Can't say the same for Drews though.

Individual Skills and consistency no doubt they are almost par with each other, just that other teams mostly rely on a single player thus giving the chance to kill. But kuddos to these world class athletes. They bring their best of games against each other.

Which problems have those who say Drews?! It takes a lot of courage to compare these two players. Drews is a very good player but guys Boskovic is on another level. In addition Drews never did something huge as Boskovic. She only performed very good in the vnl but never had an impact at the real important events like world champs etc and with the club she is doing great because she is playing in an average league (Japan) and for example in the italian league she was a bench player.
She was hailed as best opp. In the recent world cup in which Goncharova is also running as opp., And mind you Japan V league is a prestigious league, 15 million yen prize? Hello? Fabiana, Mihalovic and other Olympians also played there. Maybe she had not reached Biscovic's level but since the vnl she improved a lot.

As an individual player, Boskovic is obviously better than Drews. As a team player, Drews makes USA team's attack pace faster than other team's.

Hmm I bet you haven't seen Drews performance in VNL or world cup or in V-league. Just don't say like that about another player if you choose other. Just respect them as both great player. Thats my opinion

Drews was absolutely amazing in these two tournaments & she is a great player ...but when we compare the two..... Boskovic is absolutely higher in class , performance as well skills..... That's all I am saying.....

adkins To be fair, for both VNL and World Cup Boscovic wasn’t playing, so there was no opportunity to compare the stats for both Drews and Boscovic. Drews is a good player but she hasn’t really proven herself in big tournaments yet.
