I’m extending overhang on front of my house and adding on my sides. If I cut my extenders like this my gutters will be pitched forward. Would it be better to cut my extenders straight up and down instead of same as pitch of my roof. I’ve never seen it done this way. And I’m quite experienced around construction, been electrician for almost 40 years
some guidance in blocking would help me a lot. For example how many of them will need the hole with screen for vent? Do you have a formula for figuring how much venting is required?
I do it every once in while, but rarely have any complaints if I do or don't. Can you let me know what you might have had a difficult time seeing and what device you might have been using.

This is something I would love to do on a very ugly old farmhouse I’ll be helping with.

Awesome video! BTW, 16d nails is pronounced "16 penny nails."
