I don't think I've ever seen this many people on a DART green line train ever unless it is the state fair. That is insane. You are lucky you can just ride trains all the time. Man. I really like trains, and this channel is where I go when I want to see what's going on with a daily dart route. Keep doing what your doing.
That means a lot. Thank you so much for the kind words! This was filmed during the last week of the state fair so that's why there was so many people. It always is definitely fun to be able to record DART and especially ride it. Thank you so much for the support.
Although they say the wrong destination is fine they get them to their station. The reason they always have them mistaken is that the drivers control the route and they sometimes forget. Probably for the nightly rush or smt. Hope it helps
I am aware. The control for the LED signs in the cab isn't really something all operators tend to remember to change, so the sign stays as the northbound destination when the train heads south for example. Or they forget their route like you said and they input the wrong destination or literally click the wrong thing and don't notice. But yes the PA does not go with the sign so it'll say the actual destination
(Sorry to just randomly spawn into the conversation.) The whole thing ordeal had me cracking up though. I probably would not have noticed that if it were not pointed out. But I got to learn a little something about the DART system itself, so that's a plus.
Yeah. I for some reason don't entirely know what part we're talking about lol but I assume it's that part at 6:35. In the moment when it said Cedars I was like "wait what" lmao 💀 and that's why the camera flicked back to the LED sign. These signs have been around for 4 years and I've seen them since June 2021 and even then they were doing it wrong. I guess they didn't have every LED sign yet so they used the Red LBJ Central sign. They didn't have an orange LBJ sign until early 2022 lol. Lots of flaws with the old signs, and now new flaws with the LEDs

Yes it's pretty confusing to newcomers.
