Philly has had basically the same schedule as Dallas for most of the season. Philly struggled against Washington twice and went into OT in one of those games. Dak eviscerated Washington, the fact that Dak torched the Philly D for over 300 yards, while Hurts had a mid 200 yard game, shows which QB can get it done in the pocket.

I know we kill the Cowboys for DESTROYING bad teams but there’s something to be said when you’re the ONLY team in the NFL that can say they’re doing that.
Everyone has struggled with lesser opponents while the Cowboys are obliterating these teams as they should.

The Cowboys and the Eagles are playing the same team from NFC West and the AFC East , but the Cowboys have to travel to the 49ers, Buffalo, and the Dolphins and the Eagles play those same time I mention, but they played them in Philly. It's harder to beat a good team on the road then it is at home.
The Eagles and the Cowboys essentially have the same schedule because they’re in the same division. The Cowboys just got the easy part in the beginning and the Eagles will get the easy part at the end. We’ll see how it all falls into place. 🤷🏾♂️

Literally happens every year when he’s healthy. Great reg season QB, but the games that count the most in the post season he’ll lose it.
The bears need to stop hitting the reset putting. What they should do is draft players that have the longest average play career. They should focus heavy on DB’s, safety’s, corners, and OL. Trade down, for the 25th spot, in return receiving a second, third and fourth round pick.
Next years drafts they need players with average career spans and short, DL, linebackers, OL and WRS. Then in three years they need to focus on short careers, TE RB and WR.
Use free agency for depth, and maybe make a splash in a few years. Now is not the time to be spending on players. You CANNOT turn this orginizqrion around in 1 year.

The fact of the matter is, the formula of being awful for a season and drafting a QB number one overall into that situation hardly ever works. It’s ruined and ended careers. The Bears need to put a team around the QB and not a QB around a bad team.

If Daks or the Cowboys name wasn’t mentioned, I would’ve swore they were talking about Peyton Manning. Was amazing all regular season but came up short in the playoffs. Manning didn’t win one until well into his career.
Dan Marino went to the Super Bowl his second year in the league and never again to the AFC conference championship game in the remaining 14 years of his career. He stacked up records; he never had the team Joe Montana or Franco Harris did. These guys would NEVER ask, "aside from piling up numbers and going to the pro bowl 3X, what did he do since his second year in the league?"

Thing is Peyton manning basically was the colts. Very little support outside of Marvin Harrison iirc and did not have even a top 15 defense most of his career on the Colts. Dak has played on some very talented teams and has failed to get the job done numerous times in the playoffs. The cowboys went 13-3 in Dak’s first year, Manning’s colts didn’t even make the playoffs until year 2 or 3 as a wild card
Crap always comes up short. 8 years in the league and not sure if he will ever win at the end of his career.

The advantage for the Bears is that they have options but that does bring its own set of challenges. Another argument for moving on from Fields is to reset your rookie deal timer with a QB. If they keep Fields and then think he is worth enough for a deal they will end up hamstrung on other positions of need. So many teams have used the rookie QB window to build championship caliber teams and then once the time for a deal hits they are an attractive enough destination for free agent signings. It’s a tough call but I would move on from Fields, get the capital, and continue to accrue assets.

Caleb Williams has been looked like the #1 overall lock against top teams in college this year. He would face much better talent in the NFL next year. Plus his refusing to do the post game interview after a bad game this year is a red flag for me. The Bears should trade that #1 pick to fill out the roster with better talent. Fields will still be on his rookie deal next year, if he doesn't look any better with more talent around him they will have two #1 picks in 2025 to go up and get a QB if they need to.

If it was any other QB in the league putting up those numbers the media would've already crowned him MVP. But since it's Dak and it's the cool thing to hate the Cowboys they're keep making up excuses to keep him out of the discussion. Dak only had two bad games this season (Cardinals & 49ers). In the loss against Philly he was great and outplayed Hurts. There's simply no objective reason to downplay Dak's performance this season.

If I was Chicago,... 🤔 I will have a long conversation with Justin Fields. And if you don't sense that he wants to be a Bear, then I would definitely draft Caleb Williams. But honestly, the last few games of USC, he didn't play too well. He threw a bunch of pics especially against Notre Dame. His stock to me personally has taken a hit. But I know a lot of people compare him to Patrick Mahomes, I don't know. The NFL game is a lot faster than the college game. I will build weapons around Justin Fields as well as toughen up that offensive line to protect them. Marvin Harrison from Ohio State and if they get lucky if they can get a Brock Bowers from Georgia along with a strong O-Line with DJ Moore, they might be competing in the NFC North.
I was about to push back on Justin Fields going for a 1st and a 3rd but remembered Darnold went for a 2nd and a 4th. NFL teams love potential over production.

The bears should have drafted his replacement last season, now they have no choice.
I’m a Dallas Cowboy fan. Have been since birth. This team has finally got what it takes to go the distance. Dak is playing at an elite level. The offensive line is starting to gel. The WRs are elite. The defense is outstanding. I’m going to say it. Super Bowl champions 2024! Philadelphia is good. SF is good. Whoever wins the NFC championship wins the SB.
The part that'll hurt us in the playoffs is what we never had. We need someone that can stop the run. Hopefully we'll sign Shaq Leonard to upgrade that position
