from what I know, patcha used to work on the game in the ff classic era (around when the game first released) but eventually stopped working on the game for an unknown reason, the shirt effects that shiny put on sale occasionally were to pay patcha for their work (they also made the title screen music)
might have gotten some of this wrong, that's just what I've heard though
