Have a clear sink and counter-top before you begin cleaning the meat/poultry and then thoroughly clean and sanitize the area when you are finished.

Girll completely agree. We in the Caribbean clean our meat. The places these meat be and how they be cut and prepared we don’t know. It could have been dropped, sneeze on etc. clean with water and salt, vinegar or lime. Just clean out your sink with bleach and dish liquid and you good. Doing the “cleaning” also help draw out blood. We been doing it for years.

My mom used to put beef neckbones in her pasta sauce. It would cook all day! And then we would munch on the bones! Love it and definitely gonna try this. I wish I could try the shrimp but I’ve developed an allergy unfortunately. Which stinks because I love shrimp!

I’m gonna have to try these beef neck bones one day….. I have never tried them. I’ve made beef shanks. I’m fascinated.
