At the 6 week mark, I started working on getting comfortable with full overhead movements. Took a bit to be comfortable hanging from the bar and stretching that area. So I’d guess it was probably around the 3 month mark before I could do them. There will always be a slight risk, but 4% isn’t going to hold me back!
@@ginahoegh Not sure I'm comfortable with the 4% risk yet. What about with narrow grip on the bar instead of a wide grip? Also chin ups...thought of beginning with them and seeing how that develops. I'm 79, so I'm being a little more cautious. Thanks for the reply and the videos.

how long after your pace maker did you return to pull ups. I've been afraid of damaging the leads.

@@johnireland1629 unfortunately variations of the pull-up won’t change the risk.
