Because they would not be able to land safely at that distance. Men are still so much better and have much lower landing angles and keep more speed in the final part of the flight. Believe me, coming from a mediocre skijumper only competing on national level, landing on HS (not on a flying hill but HS100 or HS140) for me is like landing on the flat.
@@talcarman7498 It is not true - definitely. If it was, Daniela Iraschko would not have stood her 200 metres in Kulm. It was year 2003 and she beat the WR then.
