As a massive Superman fan, I didn't really care about them nerfing him at all because it was a family comedy movie about Krypto and his friends. Not really something to take super seriously. Besides that, Superman's power level is different in every iteration. He was cartoonishly powerful in the Silver Age and could tow entire solar systems behind him. Then the Modern Age nerfed him and he could pull a moon or a planet with the help of the Justice League. In the New 52, he could bench the equivalent weight of the Earth for five days before breaking a sweat. In the DC Animated Universe, he was even less powerful and could be hurt by things like electricity. In the DCEU, he's about as powerful as in the Modern Age comics. Ultimately, though, it doesn't really matter. That's not what his stories are about. They're about his character. Who he is, not what he can do. Rather, what he chooses to do with his power and where that drive comes from. And even ignoring that (which you shouldn't if you're a Superman fan), he gets tossed around by people with telekinesis all the time. Just look at Manchester Black or Blanque. Two Superman villains with that as their main superpower. If anything, the reliance on kryptonite in this movie was bit unnecessary. But as I said before, it's a comedy and none of that matters. Superman's a supporting character in it and he's not even part of the main supporting cast. That would be Krypto and the Super-Pets. If that's not what you're looking for in a movie, that's fine. There are tons of other things out there that'll scratch that itch for you.

Krypto is overpowered its weaker than Superman in strength since dogs are weaker than humans but it’s much faster just like dogs are faster than humans,and Superman can already go close to light speed
