Hi Akil. This is a great question! We are thrilled to see your interest in our unique collection of Smart Home lights and switches. To answer your question, yes, it is possible for a Cync Wire-Free Switch to control multiple Cync Wafer Downlights. To accomplish this, please ensure all desired devices are within the same ‘Group’ in the Cync application. 'Groups’ can be created during setup. If your device is already commissioned in the Cync app and you wish to add it to a ‘Group,’ we ask that you follow these steps: Tap ‘Settings,’ ‘Rooms and Devices,’ select the ‘Room’ the device is in, ‘View Devices,' and finally click ‘Edit this Device.’ At the very bottom of the Edit page you will see an option to select a ‘Group.’ The Cync support team would be more than happy to assist should you need additional guidance. Get in touch by calling 1-844-302-2943.
Hi Jamie. Great question! You can set it up through Google Home, if you prefer! Cync Wafer Downlights are compatible with both Works With Google and Seamless Setup. You can decide whether you would like to add the devices into the Cync app first and link the account to Google, or put them right into Google Home.
Yes! This works with Alexa and Google. Here's more information on compatibility that may be helpful: cyncsupport.gelighting.com/s/article/wafer-downlight-specifications?language=en_US
Hi there. Thank you for inquiring! Because the Lutron Caseta switches are wireless, they would not work with our Wafer Downlights. These lights require a switch that is wired using traditional switch wiring (line, load, ground).
Why sell this product in LATAM if your app is not going to be available to that market in the ios store?
Can a single Cync Wire-Free Smart Switch with Color Control be used to dim or control the white color of multiple wafer downlights simultaneously?

Do I have to download the Cync app for the light to work, or can I set it up through the Google Home app?

Do I need a traditional switch at all or can these be directly wired to the breaker, without any type of switch between?
Yes you can! But it only be you controlling the lights since you don't have a wall switch for others to turn on or off.
What if I have an electrical box in the ceiling for slim LED downlights that are already there? Do I need to take out the electrical box?
Hi there. We recommend that you use the electrical box that is included with the Wafer Downlight.
Does this work with alexa?
Yes! This works with Alexa and Google. Here's more information on compatibility that may be helpful: cyncsupport.gelighting.com/s/article/wafer-downlight-specifications?language=en_US
