At 8:53, if I didn't know anything about Minecraft and saw this, I would think it was a photograph of a real house. The windows could be textured glass, and... Okay the fence posts would look a little weird to me, but otherwise it looks like a photograph.
Still the scale is off, 1 block is 1 cubic meter so that house has 5 meters to the ceiling! You could stack about 3 ppl on top of eachother, a normal door is about 2 meters tall, if you would 3D print that house into real life in natural scale you would have a house for GIANTS x)

xD i think its possible with some command blocks to deal with effects, visions or maybe secret proximity detectors that tp you to a bigger room? Maybe Seth can build that if he takes his time.
I must say that this house is more like a house with toogleable lights, and it should have much more redstone for the space it takes, and the underground parts of it can have much more redstone stuff, you can even put a redstone elevator, some ideas look cool, but in some parts there's no detail at all, you can get inspiration from people like Keralis,Redeyes,etc. I hop you make it better :D PD: Some people created a bathroom paper using button and item frames with wool.
To think is was one of the first videos I watched that introduced to Minecraft is crazy. I thought this house was the coolest thing ever and it still is pretty damn cool.

This is an excellent representation of the average modern suburbian house. Tyken has by far my favorite minecraft home/base, but this is another very good one. The design and architecture is great, and the redstone lighting is an awesome touch. It's really like an everyday house, just a little larger than most though. The basement however is a little odd, and mostly plain. Very nice, I personally give it a 9.5/10.

The redstone mechanisms are quite simple indeed but the house is absolutely extraordinary.
This house is beautiful. I would honestly love to live in something like this that has a similar style to it in real life. You did an amazing job.
