- How to make folding lid cardboard boxes out of a single piece of card. Simple craft tutorial to make a pretty box for storage. Use them to decorate your room, store small items or as a gift box. Try using patterned card, different colors or even glitter and experiment making different sizes. You'll need a sheet of card, a ruler, some scissors, and glue.

For Father's Day this last June, I made 41 of these & put a little candy pun into each. One for each year my dad has been a father. He loved it! THANKS!
I also used the same technique on a plastic placemat from the dollar store. I cut it in half, scored the folds, used super glue, and glued a dot of velcro to the front to secure it.
P.S. a couple stickers, stuck half to the box & half to each other make a great handle for easy opening.

Thanks a lot for this, got a necklace as a gift for someone that was just in a zip locked bag, followed this and made a nice little box from Christmas patterned thin card and tissue paper and it looks great. A super easy to follow video well done. :)

I want to make a box to gift a CGC comic but can’t find the exact measurements in any store so I decided to make my own box 😃 I think this is the simplest design using a recycled cardboard box and maybe some bubble wrap. Since I might need to ship it out due to restricted traveling. Thank you for sharing!!!

This works pretty well with poster paper and i managed to make a deck box for my YuGiOh cards. I used the same method and i stuck a YuGiOh logo on the top with some more glue. This is actually a pretty good craft for storage, gifts, rings or whatever you want to put in it. Nice video, Dave!

This was surprisingly easy to make. I saw so many videos using a scoreboard and what not and got very intimidated. But this is really really really really really really really really really really really easy and it comes together like magic

Very nice and so easy! Paper clips are handy for holding the paper while the glue dries too.
