With passive income you have more control and can pivot to something else because you’ve gained back your time you can then learn other ways to diversify your cash flow.

Then you can start with your side hustles. $1,000 in the bank won't get you much these days. You should probably have already done this before you get married.

My Term is 10 years, with about half of them left. I'm 30. I don't intend to extend my Term policy for another 10 years after, but I do intend to still have a life insurance policy until the day I day. At least 1.

If you have a credit card that gives you perks, the best way to use them is to treat the credit card like its a debit card. You dont use it unless you have the money in your checking account to pay it right back. That way you get the perk for using the card and you won't have a balance for the purchase, because you went and paid if off right after it posted to your account

You guys are absolutely right about the credit cards.
Credit in general comes down to rather or not if one can afford their available credit. You just stated it different, but means the same.
If one can afford to repay the debt, than credit cards is a good thing as long as your self disciplined enough to NOT change your spending habit after you recieve a new credit card. Example, before you recieved credit cards, you were spending 1/3 of your net income. After recieving credit cards, only charge the equivalent of the 1/3 each month you already spend. Your only substituting what you use to spend in cash, to now using your credit cards, but your not increasing your spending habit.
    You need good credit!!!

20 percent of your earnings should go towards investments like etfs and index funds. Money sitting in the bank is worthless unless unless it’s an emergency fund. After you build up at least 6 months of living expenses your “savings” should go into investments.

Just seeing this video! Great advice. I need to shout out my English teacher in high school, he taught us about life. He told us we were about to go out in the world we didn't need English lessons we needed life lessons. He told us if we were to use a credit card, make sure you have the money to pay it off when the bills came. Not to use the card willy-nilly, be mindful on spending. I always kept that in mind when purchasing things.... again, great advice! Keep up the videos!!!

I was thinking the same thing. For those who don’t use credit cards responsibly, perhaps they should stay away, BUT responsible people can benefit from them.
Although I appreciate the knowledge, I wonder if they have credit cards and what their credit scores are?? If you’re going to condemn credit cards, educate people on how to achieve an 800 credit score without them.

They explained that MOST people get "scammed" by credit cards & their banks because they pay the 17% charges. And that we must reverse that to earn those benefits & points. I hear you and the people here that cards can benefit; understand that this is the greater minority of folks using cards and that's how Visa/MC/AMEX etc. became trillion dollar banks. Wealth Nation is trying to warn the 98% of people who cards exploit.
