  • Hey Guys and Gals!
Last weekend Christian and I went out to Bellthorpe National Park to explore the area and search for some tough tracks. We met at Stoney Creek Day Use Area which is an amazing creek that runs into a big water hole which would be great for a dip on a summers day!
We then took the track opposite the day use area and followed that up some very steep and rocky inclines to the top of the mountain range. With the tyre pressures lowered to 20PSI there was heaps of traction and absorbed the bumps well. After following trails up and down through the mountain range and crossing a few creeks we found Brandon's old mill site. The site has many rusted relics and amazing historical ornaments.
Christians Toyota LandCruiser VDJ76 V8 Turbo Diesel on Marks 4wd Adapter Portal Axles handled every track with ease! The massive clearance from the Portal Axle conversion meant that the diff or undercarriage did not even touch the ruts at all! It is impressive to watch this beast at work! Along with front and rear factory differential locks the 76 is unstoppable and just crawls through anything you put in front of it. The DPF back twin exhaust gives a mean exhaust note and lets you know exactly whats under the hood! Uneek Barwork is fitted to the front and rear of the cruiser providing great protection and also a spot to mount the spare tyre and some big light force 240 Spotlights.
My Old 80 series has a 3inch king spring lift kit with OZtech shocks and is running 265/75r16 Bfgoodrich KM2 tyres. Along with Arb bar work and a kaymar swing away tyre carrier. Lots of interior and electrical modifications as well.
Thanks for watching guys! If you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up and Subscribe :D
    Cheers, Nick :D

Holly Christians goes so well with portals now. Can’t wait to have a ride in that legendary 76 series. She’s one of a kind. Makes stuff look so easy that my V8 would struggle on.

Great vid, well done!! Keen to see more of the capabilities of the portal axles cruiser and what the on-road dynamics are like.

Salty Pretzel. On road it drives better than standard, because of the increased wheel track you get better stability and better leverage on the suspension so it makes for a more comfortable ride as well. Because it retains the factory suspension you don't get the added body roll of a suspension lift!!!
