This story actually made me chuckle. Basically rather than be slaughtered, the Gibeonites were like "Nah I'd rather chop the wood and carry the water!"

This video series is fantastic. It is extraordinarily thorough in its selection of Bible stories, covering stories for which child-oriented video content is very hard to find elsewhere. Within each story, the script is very faithful to the biblical text. The biblical interpretations inherent in visually depicting the stories and translating the biblical text to child level are well thought through. And the visual artistry is excellent, including age-appropriate depictions of violence, which is inescapable in the biblical narratives. One request to the creators: please consider removing or changing the motif of the woman who says, "Oh my God" in almost every video (see [08:15] in the above video). This is off-putting for people in conservative communities - such as myself - who view the term "God" as sacred and not to be used as a casual exclamation. I don't appreciate hearing it, and I certainly don't want my daughter to pick up this phrase. (Suggestion: it could easily be modified to "Oh my goodness!") Thanks!
