F-Zero 99 - First Grand Prix on Mirror Queen League with Fire Stingray

NEW TRACKS!!!
MMC2 - I don't have any strategy going into this race so I'm just going to play it kind of normal. Tried both routes in the circle, I can't really determine best way to go but the extra sparks and speed there will be useful.
MPT1 - I always though PT1 was a difficult Stingray track because of the traffic and this is very similar. Didn't have any really bad mistakes but it was just a choppy race all around and didn't get the zipper extension on my skyways.
MRC1 - This layout makes the race unlike RC1 as its more driving since there is only 1 jump. The bumpers are tricky as I'm not used to their pattern here. Will take some more races to see which machine does best here.
MWL1 - Not too much changed here, but some fun extra stuff along the way.
MWL2 - I felt way out of sync here, I definitely didn't play this correctly, should still be a strong Stingray course if played well. Overall its exciting to play on these modified courses.

Just did this with Falcon. Was mid, as I was trying to get all the tracks, not a good position. But this league to me felt like a Fox/Falcon one, as there are so many new obstacles on the track that hitting them on Stringray or Goose just drops you down the ranks like mad. But maybe practicing them more will change my mind.

The changes are way more chaotic compared to knight, strange since queen league is where the gimmicks get a bit heavier already, now I just heavily fear what mirror king will be like.

Everything now seems tl benefit only foxes and falcons.
The jump pad in mMC2 was a bad decision.

Amazing how mRC1 is somehow more bland than RC2 could dream of being. There were barely even any reds on Lap 4... unlike Mirrored Sand Ocean which is a nightmare at the last corner.

Do you use d pad or joystick? I notice when you do your WL1 jump you follow kind of a bendy arc path compared to someone like Daizen who does it in a boxy motion with 2 sharp turns, which makes me wonder if he uses d pad. I use joystick but I’m trying to figure out which one is better

So far, I don't like it as much as the mirrored Knight League. Seems like they make the tracks more and more chaotic, I already fear a little what they'll do with mirrored King League. 😅But might just be my first impression and change in the next days. It's definitely great that we finally get "new" tracks...was about time and the game changed a lot now since the 1.3 update for the better.
